Communication was very frustrating as despite messaging via Hotels.com (once it had been booked - 3 months before our stay)and then later by a bit of detective work emailing directly. This was just to get details i.e. postcode, info re local places to eat etc, the first communication was at 5.45pm on the day of check in i.e. after the check in time of 2pm. Only then did we have the postcode for the Satnav. Overall it was very cosy and well appointed and presented BUT the toilet, although I accept it was clean, looked disgusting due to extensive brown/orange staining from the water. The shower needed a thorough clean or even a new shower tray and retiling. The steps on the wooden stairs were so narrow that they are dangerous and possibly not safe for children or those less confident on their feet. This was not anticipated and was an inconvenience for one of our guests (aged nearly 78). From the description it was not obvious that there was an upstairs bedroom and the bathroom is on the ground floor. Looking back at the photos I can see a reflection of a stair case in a mirror. Very quiet and peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The location is in the countryside with 40 shades of green all around. The location served as our base for exploring Glendalough, which was one of the top places to see on our 3-week trip, as well as Powerscourt Gardens, Waterfall, and other attractions such as Lough Tay and the bridge from the movie, "P.S. I Love You". My wife loved the washer/dryer in the apartment.

Loved the property. Homely and warm and the bed was so comfortable. Not sure what happened but music went off at 2.30am ? Has everything you need and you don’t need to bring anything like towels or bedding.

The apartment was very roomy. It is a little off the beaten path so I would recommend stopping in a near by town to get groceries before going to check in.
