Location was great! There are many bus stops around and many buses passing through so commuting was a real breeze. Room is quiet with plenty of space, though cleanliness of corners and nooks could be a bit better (overall is clean and bright, just need to be better for a clean freak like me lol) Washing machines on every floor, but water dispenser only on alternate floors so need a bit of walking around. Breakfast is basic but good (with a banana every day!) Easy access to convenience store and eateries nearby- couldn’t ask for a better stay!

Not sure why this hotel has such great reviews; it’s only okay. For the same price, I’ve stayed in better ones in Taichung during the same week. I decided to give it a try based on the high ratings, but it was disappointing. Why I didn’t enjoy it as much: • The bed is uncomfortable and of cheap quality. • They don’t provide slippers, which is uncommon in Taiwan. • Breakfast is neither buffet-style nor of high café quality: they order a main course of your choice, but the drinks are low quality—not even milk is provided. I wouldn’t return, nor recommend it to others.

We had a delightful stay at the Hotel Huru House. - Super clean, nicely spacious room with everything you need (kettle, fridge, closets, good water pressure and heat, excellent AC) including nice big windows with darkening curtains, and a small couch for lounging. - Located on a quiet street so noise was not an issue. - Bed was quite firm as others have mentioned, but we loved it. It was great for our back and hips after long days of walking and hiking. - Breakfast is a simple a la carte Taiwanese breakfast and delivered daily from a local restaurant. Various coffee and tea options available in a lovely lounge/cafe on the first floor. - Staff were very friendly and helpful, and we loved that we could just tell them when we wanted the housekeeping. - Wifi was pretty bad but that seems very common in Taiwan hotels so recommend you just rent a wifi puck from a local telco for the length of your stay. - Coin-operated washing machine with built-in cold air dryer and water dispensers on each floor. The combination of price, cleanliness, location, breakfast, and staff’s hospitality made it by far one of the best budget hotels we’ve stayed anywhere in the world!

It’s more than what we expected. The room is spacious enough. Neighborhood is quiet, good for resting. TV doesn’t have any channel though. Generally, it’s a decent place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful

[Tourist] Room is bigger than expected. Comfortably open luggage. Has a cupboard, which was handy! The room also smells nice upon entry. The soaps provided are also good! Amenities provided. Cleanliness/maintenance was good and above average. Good job and keep it up! Breakfast is provided. I think it's from a cafe down the road. It was alright. They give it in a little doggy bag, kinda feels like a parent giving you lunch, which is cute in a way. Service is good. May struggle with non-Chinese, but they try hard, so I appreciate that. Location is good, but not much to do after 5pm around there. I think I will stay here again if I come back to Taichung!
