I think we got lucky room wise, it's not amazing or comfy but I did manage to sleep (the bar is low). The check in was okay. Do remember its only between 5 and 7 though, which is extremely inconvenient and unusual for a hostel. The house itself isn't modern, that's fine but there are many small but major issues: - someone who seems to be from the staff but claims to be a customer smoking joints, drinking vodka and playing music from 10 pm until he passed out just outside the hostel door, and got angry at me when I asked him to not to take the music inside when he was trying to. There are signs everywhere saying no alcohol and no smoking, and yet. - we weren't given the remote to the a/c during a heatwave - there is no staff on site (or only ones that pretend not to be staff) when issues like these arise - cleanliness was okay at most - super inconvenient to have to take your own pillow case and bed sheets - insanely squeaky leather mattresses, every single move and turn is announced to all the roommates :') - cat food openly around so cats must be living in the building - no fire alarms or smoke monitors The breakfast is the redeeming quality and saves this form a two star review. Indeed plenty of food, as many complimented, but some things are expired and after last night I am not sure how to trust the cleanliness. But putting that aside really quite okay. We were also lucky bathroom wise and we're keen to NOT shower and avoid that whole hurdle while here. Overall, it's okay, you can definitely stay a night here and save some money, but it's really low in my hostel experiences. I would reconsider for staying more than one. P.s. owners responses to problems are that there is a free cancellation policy??!

Perfect for a one night stay! The host was nice and there was a lot of free food. De location is also perfect, within a 10 min walk you reach the city center. The room was okay, the bunkbeds didn't have stairs, which made it a bit of a climb and the room could use some cleaning, also some bigger lockers for your backpack would be nice. The lock on the door was really great. Overall it was exactly what was expected when paying this price.

Great warmth host of a service. Chill dudes when checking in and a amazing Aunty in the morning with a smile that ensure we have a full stomach for breakfast. Yes its a hostel with the sterotypical rooms. Good stay, warm showers and great staff, you find good people who stay here with interesting stories. Me and my son loved every single bit.

Great experience, the owner was really nice and caring. There was always food to eat and a place to rest. Great place if you are visiting the city, afordable, confortable and in the center. Thank you for everything hope to come back soon!

Great value, perfect for people wanting to travel light, with great food and drink included in the price. The host cooked pancakes and sausages for us every morning! A brilliant place to stay, located in the city centre.
