The staff is incredible, accommodating and so helpful! Dani was THE BEST! It’s an old historic inn with all the quirks and charm. Not ADA so skip if you can’t do stairs. Great restaurant and bar downstairs. Able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. You can hear the bar downstairs but they have ear plugs and sound machines. We just embraced it and joined them!

The Olde Angel was a great place to stay. Close to restaurants and having the pub underneath was nice.

Olde Angel Inn is in a terrific location in the walkable part of Niagara on the Lake. The problem is that the rooms are over the bar and on Fridays and Saturday nights there is live music downstairs from 9:30 pm until 12:30 am complete with loud percussion and persistent bass. We reserved on Expedia and we're not told about this for-us defect. If you reserve directly at the site they supposedly tell you about this. We lucked out and the band did not show up on Saturday night but Friday night was bad enough.

When we showed up they did not have a room for us, they were “double booked”. They said it was the second time that happened that day. Location is great but I’d recommend calling the hotel directly instead of booking through an app if you want to stay here. Staff was helpful in trying to find a room somewhere else, however it was far from the main road where we wanted so had to walk with our bags to find a walk in room elsewhere. Now we will have to fight with Expedia to try and get a refund for the room we bought and paid for at time of booking, a room we could not use.

Glasses needed for bathroom was our only “complaint “….easily fixed.

Not going to lie but we were disappointed with our stay at this pub/hotel. It’s quite run down as a whole and doesn’t reflect the web site image. It has definitely seen better days. It was an expensive with little to offer. No parking, no breakfast, no tea/coffee in rooms. I say this like this because the brochure in the room read like No No No. It did not make us feel very welcome. Even when you sign in you have to sign a form to promise not to steal the towels and pillows. A note to anyone booking over the weekend the band really is VERY loud and it does play until 12:30am. On walking around Niagara on the Lake we saw many better options. We will not be recommending or returning.

Excellent location, unique experience

The property was old and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did find out when we got there that there was going to be a live band in the downstairs restaurant - the restaurant occupies the whole main floor with the hotel rooms located on the second floor. They had ear plugs and sound machines, but the bass was louder. This went on until 1am! I gave the Olde Angel Inn 5 stars because it was a lovely, convenient spot to stay. I give Expedia 1 star for not including this bit of information that is provided by the hotel.

Quaint hotel in Niagra on the lake. Staff was super helpful and friendly!

There is bar with very loud music which didn't let us sleep until 1am. The floor in our room was shaking and furniture was jumping. My wife and I came to the hotel after the show at 10pm and were shocked. We tried to find a room in other hotels but we couldn't. I'm 70 and never had such a terrible night in my life.

Booked for business trip when other places were priced so high It was a pleasant surprise Great staff , clean and roomy Right in the heart of city Cozy and charming

Historical gem in the heart of NOTL

10/10, would stay here again. Vibes were historical but modern. Food and staff were top notch !!!

There is a bar below the rooms It is very loud until about 1:00am. Loved the hotel but if your looking for quiet this is not the place!! Good location!!

Amazing Staff , Clean Rooms

The staff were absolutely amazing! Such a nastalgic room, great entertainment and right in the heart of everything. I wish we had coffee! Otherwise, it would have been a solid 5.❤️

The room was unique and even larger than expected. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and they have a great pub right downstairs with a live band for food and beer on a Saturday night.

Clean, comfortable and in walking distance to the sights. They provide a white noice Bluetooth speaker to drown out the noise from the band which is thoughtful.
