Staff were all excellent, place is absolutely spotless and set within a stunning building that has been beautifully and sympathetically restored.

The stay was great and the staff friendly and professional. The disabled facilities from getting into the building to room facilities poor. Very bumpy external ramp. Beds in disabled rooms to high and a raised lip between bedroom and bathroom.

The hotel roof pool is lovely but was slightky disappointed by the overall experience . This was our 3rd stay but only the first since the change of ownership to Champneys. Its early days but did not have the same vibe as previous visits

Lovely hotel and facilities

The area is stunning (helped by the snowy surroundings), and a very central location. The staff are friendly, professional and polite. The facilities are exceptional and well maintained, we will be staying again and have already recommended to friends

Everything was just as we wished for our 4 night stay, but most of all, the service from the staff in the restaurant at breakfast and during dinner was impeccable… thank you…. We will be back at some point soon

Really comfortable large bed

Buxton Crescent is a very good hotel situated in the middle of town, close to all the amenities. The breakfast was a bit disappointing on one of the two mornings we were there as the portion was a bit meager and not of great quality, however the full English was really nice. The room was lovely and the spa was excellent! We also had a pre theatre menu dinner that was very tasty and well presented. A very relaxing and pleasant experience.

Fantastic hotel! Lovely staff!

There is no parking at the hotel, other than an expensive valet option The spa was full of couples heavy petting in the open pools, I’m nota prude butI go to relax. I dread to think what goes on in the private (pay by the hour) pools but hopefully they clean them better than the toilets in the public areas which are absolutely disgusting. The breakfast area was so full of tables that were covered in the last occupants dirty dishes it was hard to find somewhere to sit and looked a complete mess even though there appeared to be a supervisor walking around. The breakfast buffet is clearly not topped up so if you choose to have a later breakfast the selection is very poor. There is clearly no effective supervision of any aspect of this hotel and given the amount they charge for a night it’s a disgrace.

Lovely attic room and very friendly staff. The Derbyshire breakfast was huge!

Hotel is lovely and so was breakfast. Spa also is super but I have an ongoing issue with the hotel that they seem reluctant to resolve.
