Unfortunately room was tired and very small. No air conditioning or fans available. Hotel undergoing much needed maintenance at the moment but meant pool was cold and without changing facilities and lifts out of order.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at the Marine Hotel recently. Our room was very pleasant overlooking the seafront. Our dietary needs were well catered for at breakfast. I am a coeliac and require gluten free and my husband is a vegetarian. Also hotel has a swimming pool, which was very pleasant in the hot weather.

It was too hot. Fan wasn't that helpful. Portable AC should be available on such days. Hotel view was not good too facing garbage bins. A bit pricey for the type of room we got. Rest lovely location. Lorraine the receptionist was very very helpful for sightseeing.

Nice staff

We arrived at the property and we was not told about the ongoing building work going on at the hotel. There is scaffolding all around the hotel no views from the window due to a scaffolding dirty windows unsafe no locks on the windows meaning people can climb with the ladders and get into your room rude Bar manager overall experience very bad. This hotel should be closed down until the work is completed.

Stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and always had a pleasant stay. Brilliant location close to railway station, theatre & shops. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast 10/10. Already made another reservation. Shame scaffolding blocks sea view a bit but at least they are maintaining the lovely building.

The staff were really pleasant efficient and very very helpful. The only problem we had was we paid for a superior double room which was really good with a little sitting area where the tv was. The bathroom let the room down as the shower was so small and being on the big size I couldn’t get in!!!! The hotel interior was fine but needs a good overall externally !

Positives...Great location on the front 10/15 mins from the station and even closer to the theatre which was the reason for our visit. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice hot and cold. I enjoyed a full English. Cons.. The hotel seemed tired and our room was very creaky w

All staff were amazing friendly and helpful the meals were excellent value for money, the room was very clean but as the property is extremely old main corridors were a bit shabby in part's however this was my second stay and I'd go back again as I consider it good value for money.

Room bright and comfy but bathroom too small. Needs an extra chair and more towels.

We only stayed for one night at the hotel. It was conveniently located and cheap. The hotel itself was undergoing work so covered in scaffolding when we were there. Rooms were functional and clean but could do with upgrading. The staff were very helpful with regards to parking.

Clean room overall really tidy, friendly and helpful staff, food looked ok although we did not eat in the hotel, bar well stocked

Room clean, breakfast excellent and good value. Hotel in midst of renovation, meant scaffolding blocked the lovely Davies. Good location for town.

We had amazing time in Marine Hotel. Room was clean , bed comfortable staff very friendly always ready to help. Swimming pool was big bonus we really enjoyed. Definitely we will be back soon. Thank you again 😊
