Room clean , staff helpful, good selection of shops nearby

Good location beautiful lobby and nice design. However bathroom was very cold and towel warmer didn’t seem to work. There was a toothbrush head in my bathroom bin so cleaning wasn’t quite perfect. Not the warmest welcome on desk and no sign of WiFi code anywhere in room nor given it at the desk.

Booked a twin room but beds were pushed together because room too small to configure beds correctly. Room was dark, only one bathrobe (for two people) and no water supplied as should be, we had to ring reception and ask for it. Coffee maker needed a good clean. Mentioned at checkout and was promised an email, never got one. Madeleines bar was poorly staffed, it is usually good service but only a few (well known) customers got any attention.

Staff were not knowledgeable about their own services. Room was clean but bed was not a king size as advertised. It was a queen at best. All we could hear all noght were the aircon units outaide the window that was closes. Bed was awful. Bouncy and not secure so when you sat on the bed it rolled away from you..

Wonderful hotel

Stayed in a double room, quite small. But everything you need. Spotlessly clean. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Every member of staff was courteous and friendly. Had drinks in the bar, not overly priced. Breakfast was really good, quality produce & plenty of selection. A very minor point, the tables are quite close to each other, so felt a bit squashed. Overall an excellent stay, the decor is amazing. Staff really friendly & helpful. Highly recommended

Really nice, helpful staff on booking in. Room was clean and spacious, bathroom is huge! Enjoyed our two night stay, close to the centre so you need to find parking nearby.

I think we got a cheeky little upgrade because the room was huge! Spotless, the soaps and things smelt gorgeous. Beautiful little touches in the room too. Staff so friendly and courteous, can’t do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would love to stay again.
