It was a last minute stay I am so glad I chose this hotel instead of a more central to York. Best hotel I’ve stayed In absolutely stunning definitely luxurious the bath was what drew me in. I had the most amazing night

We have stayed at least 3 times. Sandburn Hall keeps consistently high customer service and housekeeping standards. The quality of food in Tykes restaurant was also good.

Two night stay. Chose this hotel for its location as its very close to the A64. Great base for exploring North Yorkshire. York about 10/15 mins away by car. The restaurant for breakfast is very relaxed and staff are lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay

From driving up to the reception and departure the stay was outstanding. Two nights in the Alderney suite and we can’t wait to return. A newly built property only 6 years old it is pristine throughout, the decor is stunning, all furnishings and fixtures of the highest quality and it shows! As a retired hotelier I suppose I appreciate the attention to detail and the comfort of the mattress and pillows was perfect. The grounds and surrounding areas are magnificent. The staff are exceptional, well trained, efficient and helpful. Our new favourite place when visiting our favourite York City. Glowing review, yes! It’s well deserved x

This is a beautiful hotel in all aspects! The breakfast was the nicest hotel I have had in a long while and I travel alot!! Perfectly situated for the coast, we visited Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and whitby; and for York and Harrogate. Would definately stay here again if we find ourselves in that part of the country again!!

Hotel was modern and very clean throughout. The staff were friendly and very helpful in both the hotel and Tykes restaurant. Situated in a rural area, we found the hotel setting quiet and we would definitely stay again.

Property is excellent staff are friendly however our night was spoiled by the actions of other guests attending a wedding shouting and slamming doors
