We stayed here for only 1 night but staff were extremely accomodating and the place was clean and nice and cosy

Lovely higher end mountain ski town hotel. We randomly chose and were rewarded with a great dinner and good room. Will go again.

Beautiful resort in the mountains. The night reception & bartender (originally from Poland) was so nice, friendly and informative! Bar had an extensive selection of akvavit! Breakfast was superb. Very neat lounge too.

My family spent 4 nights at Hovdestøylen over the Easter long weekend. We had a 3-bedroom unit in a wing next to the main hotel that was modern and well equipped. A cross-country ski trail runs right past the hotel, and the downhill ski centre is about a 5 min drive away. Parking can be a little crowded during the après-ski hours but we always managed to find a place. Nice bar area with large screen TV, fireplace and shuffleboard. Very friendly service in the bar/restaurant and at reception.

The property has recently been refurbished and is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing to complain.

We had a nice stay at Hovdestøylen. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The bedrooms are quite small, but the beds were comfortable. It is worth mentioning that two of the bedrooms have no windows, so if you are claustrophobic probably not a good idea. On the plus side the apartment had a drying cabinet, which was very useful for quickly getting dry clothes ready for next days skiing.

Nice place to stay but was suppriced when they asked for additional payment for bed linen and cleaning after one night stay in a hotel room.

Restauranten kunne godt hatt en mer variert meny, med noen typiske norske rettet, tradisjonell kost.

Fint og oppusset hotell, hold bra standard og god frokost. Gode senger

Vi hadde med hund, dette ble tatt på sparket uten problemer. Rommet var rent, alt bra. Middagen på hotellet om kvelden var god, vinen passet og betjeningen hyggelig. Alt i alt en god opplevelse som vi gjerne anbefaler andre å benytte seg av😊.

Rent rom, fin restaurant og utsikt

Hyggelig vertskap, litt nedtur at restauranten var stengt på søndager, men fikk navn på nærmeste spisested utenfor huset som var helt greit. Koselig at de fyrer opp i peisen, selv om det bare var to av oss som satt i baren.👍😀 Her kan vi finne på å overnatte igjen.
