Amazing hotel, great breakfast and really close to get to Slamdunk festival!

Lovely room which good aircon in the hot weather!

Comfortable room and very friendly staff. Free parking and a good atmosphere.

As a very regular, lone female traveller for work: Positives - a mechanical door lock that can only be opened from the inside; a bath(!); no shortage of hot water; hair conditioner (a rare and very welcome find!); decent hairdryer; an iron in the room; lovely lighting; beautiful furnishings; quiet location; plugs & usb sockets right near the bed. Negative - although the roman blinds and curtains are lovely, a net for privacy to allow light in while not showing your bum to the cars on street wouldn't go a miss!; lowering the shampoo/conditioner so you can reach it in the bath, not just the shower; Smart TV doesn't connect to Netflix/Prime etc; no breakfast served mon-thurs - an in-room continental option like a packet crossiant and jam would be ideal. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely location. Appears to be lovely hotel set up. TERRIBLE customer service and staff. Drove 5 hours here after a paid for booking and recited email. Hotel had the confirmation and had double booked but decided to not call me but instead tell me on the evening of arrival. They said their manager would call me the next day to rectify the refund. One girl was helpful finding me a hotel twice the price 20 minutes away. The other guy working there, had a 'tough luck attitude.' I had to call a week later. Again told manager would call back. No call. No refund. No accountability. Just pass the blame. Absolute shambles.DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL MANAGEMENT!

Room was pleasant , clean and airy, and bigger than expected. Breakfast is in the chequers and was passable

Booked for bed and breakfast. When I arrived at the property informed that breakfast is not served Mon-Thursday- only served Friday- Sunday then breakfast was not served until 8:30. I am a solo business traveller so 8:30 is too late for breakfast. I asked for a refund but I have not received anything yet

Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Very comfy bed with nice linen. Good hospital tray and complimentary toiletries. Had a lovely meal in the remand the breakfast was very good. Would stay agin when in the area.

Great stay! Booked the room to do all my Xmas wrapping and the staff were great! Only one issue was that I couldn’t work out how to work the plug in the bath so left it full of water 😬

The room was lovely, nice and big and well decorated. Lovely bathroom too. The pub was great, we only had a couple of drinks and breakfast but no complaints. The only small thing is we only had one bath towel in our room, we intended on running downstairs to ask for another one but ran out of time before we head to head out.

I wasn't going to leave feedback ... .. inspite of being accused of "smoking in the corridor" by the figjam / sergeant major of a receptionist .. But, I hjave just received a £100 parking fine for my stay. I registered my car ... and all that. I have appealed, but really!

This is an excellent hotel/inn. Very convenient for the local wedding venues, especially convenient for Coltsfoot Retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent, very generous, well prepared and presented, exactly what is needed the morning after the night before.

We stayed here to attend a nearby wedding. The staff were very helpful. The room was absolutely lovely. Have the toiletries you need and tea/coffee. Lovely comfy bed and a really nicely decorated room. All in all, would highly recommend

Lovely small hotel Felt like home.

Lovely spacious room, good shower and very comfortable stay with all we needed except no breakfast was provided which we did know about. We found a lovely cafe down the road.

Friendly staff. But hotel is on a busy cross roads so a bit noisy. Room was okay but a bit tatty.

Not a bad venue but.. rooms are showing need of decoration and getting tired, Air conditioning either didnt work or was set in a way that the room was still boiling and tiny window offered no respite. There is an obvious disregard for the regulations and L8 water regulations obviously not followed by the amount of scale present on the shower heads, and portable appliance testing well overdue. Resteraunt was overpriced & mediocre, still stuck in past serving on unhygienic wooden platters which the waiting struggle with so much server dropped chips all over table which really wasn't her fault.

What a great place to stay. Super spacious room, really welcoming staff and so clean. Price was a bargain and the restaurant food looked amazing sad that we had to leave early and before breakfast
