We had an amazing time. Room was updated and bed was super comfortable. Views from room are unreal.

Amazing staff, great place to stay great views of the ocean. Lots to do there. BBQs valleyball, swings, pool table, gazebo with seating and propane fires, nice access to the beach. Lots of if picnic tables. Fire pits. Very clean.

I really can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel! Everything was very clean and updated. Staff was all very friendly. The location cannot be beat and they had so many great amenities. Already thinking about coming back!

The stay is generally pretty good. The view was gorgeous from the room and you can literally step out of the room onto beach. The only thing that I want to complain is the bedding. Not sure what material it was made of, but it’s nowhere near breathable.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is amazing for beach combing and walking along the boardwalk. It was a nice small hotel and the view is so nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the mini golf that was included!

Our room was on the upper floor, great view, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The lobby area has a large lounge with complimentary coffee and pool table. Also complimentary mini golf. Perfect location to the downtown and access to the beach. Friendly staff and easy parking. We will definitely be back!

The beach is the reason we stay here but the rooms have all be redone and it's a wonderful place to stay that is also budget friendly. We love it and will be coming back next year!

We loved our stay! Met with friendly, eager and accommodating staff. You can tell they take pride in their business. They helped out with an early check in and relocated our room to the bottom floor to make it easier for me in my walking boot. Rooms were cozy and clean with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. The front patio opened right onto the beach. The view was fantastic during both high and low tide. Patios with fire places, volley ball and other games all on site next to the beach. We had zero complaints and hope to be back again soon.

If you are looking for a rejuvenating experience, Sea Edge Beachside hotel is a true gem. The place is clean, functional and right by the tranquil sea. Rex has been outstanding in accommodating our requests. We highly recommend this place as a must stay for your visit at Vancouver Island.

This property is a five star resort. It was beautiful and modern. I was very surprised because it was a very competitive rate but honestly it was absolutely beautiful from reception to the room. Very happy

Central location right on the beach. Room with well equipped - fridge, stove, microwave. Good sized king room. King bed, couch and breakfast table. Bathroom had nice walk-in shower and large soft bath towels. Two chairs outside the sliding doors to enjoy the beach view. Free coffee machine was a nice touch.

Everything was excellent

Beautiful location, right on the beach. Outdoor fire pits for fires when there is no fire ban and we love the outdoor sitting areas with propane fires when there is a ban. Staff are really friendly & helpful. Big lawn area for kids to run around, with swing set & volleyball. This place is the best for family gatherings. The only thing I would change is the blinds in the room. They’re nice for sleeping but its hard to access the balcony without opening them fully, letting in the light for others still sleeping.

I don’t understand how this place is a 9.4, I believe it should be a 5.0/10 It gave off more like an Indian motel vibe and the beach isn’t special to look at. For the price I paid, I’m extremely upset, what a waste of money. One night cost me so much. I will never book this because it was dirty, barely any cooking amenities, the bathroom shower guide rail came off and it was moldy asf! Again I would’ve never booked this garbe motel if I knew how bad it was. The staff was good and the parking was fine.
