🏨 Hidden gem alert! 🍽️ Just spent a couple of days at The Lion at Malpas and what a find. Beautiful rooms, fantastic food, and great attention to detail throughout. From the comfortable accommodation to the incredible meals, everything was spot on. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with amazing food, this place is well worth a visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. The only down sude was the loss of my credidit card - was is handed in to you?? Dennis Cole

Parking good , didn’t eat

Great place to stay . Good accommodation and lovely food. The staff were very nice and customer friendly.

Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.

Wonderful stay and a lovely room. Had breakfast both morning - delicious though service was a bit slow and had to go ask for buffet table to be replenished - could ba bit more attentive. Had evening meal both nights and food was delicious and excellent service

A very warm and friendly welcome to this local pub with (outstanding) rooms. Plenty of good parking, a great room and decent food in the evening. Highly recommended.

This was the forth or fith time we have stayed. We met friends for dinner and they and their two kids were made very welcome. The food is great, the prices are ok, and the place is spotlesslt clean

Rooms were spacious, newly remodeled, and clean. Staff were excellent and were attentive. Food was great. Paid breakfast was worth it! Bar was a great space to socialize and have dinner.
