No AC, it was soo hot I wasn’t able to have a good sleep. It was close to 29degrees with window open to the max. I had the room with the shower and the window directly to the rear of the building

The Hostel was very well kept and the rooms and washroom were very clean. Only stayed the night as was passing through.

Très très bon rapport qualité/prix. Seul petit bémol: pas de climatisation mais il y a un ventilateur dans la chambre. Très tranquille et charmant!

The place was cute, clean and quiet. However, I only had a fan in my room and it was on full-blast and it was still 27 degrees Celsius (80 Fahrenheit). I also did not like the idea of sharing a bathroom (4 rooms to share 1 bathroom), but it turned out ok. I hadn’t read the fine print

Not much shops around & I never see staff. But I love that place it’s quiet & very clean. I feel safe when I travel alone. But I would prefer a room on the ground level I got a medical problem

La chambre était propre et le lit était confortable. Les instructions pour l'arrivée autonome était clair et facile. Nous avons seulement eu de la difficulté avec le réseau internet sur la télévision (nous n'avons pas testé sur nos cellulaires) il y a eu plusieurs "bug" et message d'erreur lorsque nous tentions d'écouter nos émissions. Il serait intéressant qu'il y ait des chambres avec plus d'un lit lorsque nous devons séjourner avec nos enfants ce qui n'est pas possible actuellement. Nous reviendrons à deux ! :)

Overall I really like the place. I put 4 stars because it was a little bit difficult to sleep at night. An air purifier will be good in the room 302.

Easy check in. Nice clean room. Lovely grounds and lots of useable common areas.

This is a unique stay in the heart of the historic mining district. It was nice to walk around and see all the original log homes that belonged to the miners. Our room and adjoining bathroom were both immaculate. It was nice to have use of the kitchen and dining room. The Auberge has a sitting area in the enclosed porch and outdoor patio seating. It is unusual to remove your shoes at the door but I do understand. I did not realize immediately that I had to lock the front door behind me (thought it would lock automatically) or that I had to re-enter the code when leaving our room. It was a lovely, quiet place to stay.
