Great clean room with helpful staff

Such a cute motel, very clean and friendly staff! They have a grocery store and a yummy cafe down the street. Perfect affordable place if you’re visiting Manitoulin Island!

The bed was very comfortable, the room was big and clean but Our stay was unfortunately affected by a very unpleasant interaction with the front desk attendant. After traveling for many hours, we were exhausted and wanted to shower before going to bed. Since we were leaving again the following morning for another long trip, we also wanted to shower and wash our hair before heading out. I politely went to the front desk and asked if we could have two extra facecloths and two extra bath towels. The attendant told me that we probably couldn’t have them because we were only staying for one night. I was honestly taken aback by his response. It was a very simple and reasonable request, and there was absolutely no need for the dismissive and rude attitude I received. After some convincing, he eventually gave us the extra towels, but the interaction left a very negative impression. I understand that hotels may have policies, but there is a much more respectful way to communicate with paying guests. The towels were not the issue—the unnecessary rudeness and lack of basic customer service from the front desk attendant was.

Great care was taken in the renovation of this motel. Our room was super clean and comfortable. The attention that had been given to every detail is obvious. I feel confident in recommending this motel!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. the rooms are immaculate with extra little amenities including cutlery, kettle AND Keurig, bbq outside and easy access picnic tables and space for everyone.

While simple and modest appearing from the outside, this motel was excellent. Nice clean, updated room and friendly staff made fir a great stay.

The room looked ok but outside no shade, could not sit out too hot, parking lot in poor shape, looked run down on outside. We didn't stay here because of that, went to Manitoulin Inn & Conference Center, much better ammenities , pool, nice property, same price. I guess we lost out on our money for the room, sad.
