Check-in was easy. My room was actually across the street. Room was neat and clean. No AC but I was there on a cooler day/night. Good value. I would stay there again.

We were at the sister lodge at the other end of town which was appeared to be much older and was behind some derelict looking buildings. I was surprised as we had booked the room many months in advance. Staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately we didn’t realise we were arriving on a bank holiday Monday and there was absolutely nothing open. We ended up travelling back to Terrace Bay and eating there, then went for a walk along the beach which was lovely…as was the beach in Schreiber - well worth the visit. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. The bed was large, comfortable with the right amount of bedding. There was no aircon but it wasn’t needed at all.

We enjoyed our stay at The Voy! We are moving across the country with a Uhaul trailer and our two cats and The Voy was an easy and convenient place to stay for a night on the trip. Great location with a convenience store, restaurant and gas all onsite. The Golden Rail food truck is right next door too. The rooms are updated and clean with comfortable beds and amenities. The only thing we didn't love was that the cats could get underneath the bed (which is often blocked off in hotels and motels) so it was a bit of a challenge to wrangle our cats in the morning. Otherwise it was a great stay and we would stay here again!

This was the perfect stop for us. I love seeing these old motels being used the way they are. The room was freshly painted with modern flooring and I loved that they maintained the original peachy pink bathroom so well. The fridge the microwave the coffee maker were all easy to use. I appreciated the outlet options on both nightstands and the comfortable king-size bed. Absolutely perfect for an overnight stay along the highway.

Room was clean. Air-conditioning on point, and a lot of parking space. The staff was super helpful and it was wonderful having gas and a restaurant in the same location.

This place is excellent. The rooms were newly renovated. Great restaurant where everything us made from scratch. Variety store open 24 hours. Nice patio and reasonably priced.

Rooms are good and clean. Just a little out dated but was a good sleep.

I was worried when we drove into town and the looks of the outside of the building but we stayed in the main part along Hwy 17 and it was excellent! It was cleaner and the bed more comfy than some of the other chain hotels we stayed at during our vacation. Well done Voy!

We showed up at the property and the gentleman at the gas station next to the hotel told us that we were down the street in a different building and we were unaware that there was a separate building. It was behind a slummy hotel which was almost as slummy as the one we were staying in. Very dirty furniture and lots of bugs dead inside the room. Inexpensive stay but would have been cleaner and more amenities if you slept in a tent!

The room was spacious and many channels on the TV. Good location close to restaurants and coffee shop.

Clean room. Quiet location and parking outside of the door. Laundry room was a welcomed amenity.

The rooms reserved for Expedia were basically just cabin not even a nice one. We upgraded to the main motel and the rooms were much nicer newer, and did not have a musty smell.

The beds were comfy and the staff were polite. Nice place and recommended by us!

The room was clean and ac already on when we arrived. Check in and out were easy, staff were friendly. Great pit stop on our drive across Canada.
