Lovely little motel. Bathroom was spotless, bed was comfortable and the floors were laminate (not carpet) which I really liked. Everything felt clean and comfortable and the woman at front desk was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone looking for an affordable little place in the area.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. They were small rooms but were in keeping with the genre of the motel. Walking distance to most amenities. A/C worked, but could use some updating. Parking in front of the room.

This motel was in a good location. There were stores and restaurants within walking distance, as well as a nice park. The building itself is older and has some maintenance issues. Our bathroom door did not shut completely, and the shower was very slow to drain. The room was clean and seemed to have been renovated fairly recently. It was nice to have the vinyl plank floors instead of carpet. It was adequate for our needs.

This is a motel. The images of this place show a beautiful old building that looks like an inn, where the office is located. This gives the impression that it’s where the rooms are located. Instead, they are located in a motel and run-down apartment complex-looking building surrounding the parking lot behind the nice old building. For the same price as this place, I could have stayed at an actual hotel with amenities. The room was fine, seemed somewhat in disrepair and a bit dirty - the windowsills were cracked, the old heating system (?) had a panel hanging off, our sheets had a hole in them. The headboard had head prints when we got there. You could hear people walking above at night, which thankfully didn’t wake up our child. The staff were nice , located us to the bottom floor to help accommodate our young child. If this was advertised as a motel, it wouldn’t have been as annoying to end up in a motel. Meanwhile we were expecting to be staying at a bnb type inn. Felt disingenuous.

Only stayed one night but for what we needed, The Kent was great. Room looked exactly like the pictures, fairly updated floors and furniture. TV and A/C both worked which was a blessing in +30 weather. Motel is right on the main downtown strip, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. It’s a good choice if you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for one or two nights.
