The staff is always very kind and accommodating. The rooms are always spotless. The motel gives a feeling of being at home.

The motel was close to local amenities, restaurants, etc. The motel self catering facilities were excellent with plenty of crockery, utensils, etc, and easy parking.

The room was very nice with everything we needed. It’s a quick walk to the path that runs alongside the river & had multiple restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return!

Close to shops but it was on a busy road which made it loud. Could have used another AC in the living area but it was clean and staff was friendly. We would definitely come back again.

This was a great place to stay for a family of two young adult children and a dog. It was big enough to have some space of your own. The kitchen was big and well-stocked. It was nice cooking your own meals for a change when travelling around. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

I was pleasantly surprised at how upscale this little motel is. It was spotless and has all the conveniences of a home away from home. Next time we are visiting Port Alberni I will be booking the Riverside Motel without hesitation.

The owner operators do an amazing job running this motel. Super clean, full fridge/freezer for storing groceries prior to next leg of trip up the Alberni Inlet, super flexible, and great parking for truck and boat trailer. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

Nice, clean motel close to the marina. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ok. One of the stove burners did not work and the kitchen sink made gurgling noises all day. The portable AC unit kept the front room cool, but not the bedroom.

We stayed one night in Port Alberni as part of our road trip from Victoria to Tofino, and it turned out to be a fantastic stopover. The accommodations were impressively spacious and ideal for our group of four adults and one dog. Our unit had everything we needed and more: two bedrooms, nice bathroom, a full kitchen, dining table, sofa, TV, and even a recliner. There was plenty of space to relax after a long drive. The entire unit was spotless. It’s clear the hosts take pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept space, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Whether you're passing through or staying longer, this spot in Port Alberni is a hidden gem. Spacious, clean, and pet-friendly—highly recommended!
