The location of the hotel was perfect. Nice and clean, a little damp in the basement room. Parking to check in was next to impossible,then the spot we parked was under City Hall and averaged a little over $1/hr. And about 4.5 blocks away from hotel(Down Hill). Being handicapped we found this very difficult. Coffee maker in the room didn't work. The bed was broken which we didn't notice until morning as we checked in late 6.5hr drive. We awoke with our heads lower than our feet. But a good hot shower was nice. Our biggest problem was Parking.

Had a lovely stay. Parking was an issue. Although there was a festival the time we stayed and parking was limited we found it very frustrating. Location was perfect. We would stay again but not plan on a time when there was a festival going on.

Beautiful rooms in an excellent location. Practically next to the chateau. Walkable to shops, restaurant, cathedral, and the stairs/funicular down to the lower parts of the city. Friendly front desk, though much is done through online communication. Was a little confused with their online instructions or Expedia messages and was expecting a code to enter, but then there was someone attending the front desk, though they are not always immediately there because they are doing a few other things. Anyway, was a short wait, but amazing and spacious room with everything you need and an excellently-working AC!

Very modern decor in rooms. They are larger sized than many rooms in old town, and location is excellent next to Fairmount.

Always the best place to stay in Old Quebec

Excellent room and location!

We were two adults for a three night stay. Our room was beautiful, squeaky clean and charmingly Quebecois. The location couldn't have been better and the parking garage next door made it very convenient as parking in this area is extremely challenging. The check in host does double duty as the coffee shop staff. Each of the ones we dealt with was pleasant and knowledgable. We would happily stay here again.

Very tidy and functional room with great character. Very quiet and comfortable in a great location. Really enjoyable stay.

Great location, nice and well appointed room and good communication

Fantastic location. Comfortable room with charm combined with modern amenities. I only wish they had a sit down breakfast. There was a cafe counter with limited choices. They did have a 15% discount for those in the hotel. My room had a kitchen and microwave as well as a coffeemaker which helped as old city Quebec restaurants are a bit expensive.

Excellent quaint hotel in a perfect location for tourists. Nice, clean room. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

The only disappointment was the a/c wasn’t working! Luckily it was cool enough to leave the windows open but that bought noise from the road. The stay was great regardless.

Nice large room and good bedding. Very helpful communication and help at check in. Only negative was barn door on the bathroom that did not fit allowing no privacy and not great sound proofing from above. The decor in the room was great and the doors on the closet and entry were lovely.

The location is perfectly set in Old Quebec city. Do not let the unassuming exterior fool you. The rooms are magnificent. A cross between old stone walls and modern features make for a wonderful experience. We stayed in the very bottom floor, and loved it. Our room was huge. Everything was extremely clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The staff at the checkin desk are all bilingual. We felt the price for the level of accommodation and location, at the beginning of tourist season, was excellent. The only negatives were not enough hooks for towels and 1 ply toilet paper, which frankly are hardly worth noting.
