Overpriced, run down and dirty. Beds were comfortable, but that was it.

The buildings and the property are very old. The rooms are very small. The kitchen is poorly stocked. Utensils and pots should be replaced. The drawer for the utensils was broken. There is not enough plug-ins in the kitchen. I would say overall the owners are cheap as the TV is too small for the room. Hard to watch from a distance. There was a rolling computer chair to sit in. The room needs to be thoroughly cleaned, especially the bathroom corners. The pool did not look clean as there was a dirt ring around the top edge. They do not assign you a parking stall so you have to park a long way from your room quite often. The door lock is really hard to open. Key system is unsafe as anyone could go make copies of the keys. Poor communication from the staff. They did not tell us anything about the amenities such as where the ice machine was, barbecues on site etc.

The location can't be beat. Its close to everything. Parking was good. The room was pretty clean. The bathtub was in rough shape.

We had such an amazing stay this past weekend! The location is perfect—close to everything, making it so convenient to get around. The owners are absolutely wonderful. They are so kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their guests. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had everything they needed, which made us feel right at home. On Friday night, they hosted a customer appreciation BBQ with delicious burgers, hot dogs, and drinks. It was such a thoughtful gesture and created a fun, friendly atmosphere where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves. The property was very clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly. The positive energy throughout our stay really stood out. We had such a great experience that we’re already planning to come back next month—and this will definitely be our go-to place whenever we visit Penticton. Highly recommend!

The property was kept clean. The only issue I experienced was noise. The building is wood-frame, so you hear everything above you. The kids waking up at 8am and running around like a pack of wild elephants wasn't fun. Hearing people stomp (not on purpose, but so loud nonetheless). It was difficult to sleep in due to the loudness of peopel walking around.

Great for the price rate. Very family oriented, good sense of community. Helpful staff. Have stayed before this time and would stay again!

Clean room ,close to park and beach

The room was very spacious and clean. One small note the sink was quite dirty and we had to clean it. But it was nice to have a full size fridge and be on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. The location is very close to the main strip. I would stay here again

Great price for the convenience and space.

Clean room, comfortable beds. The bathroom was a generous size. Good sized fridge for beverages and with a separate freezer compartment.

I wish they have containers for recycling and the receptionist is nicer.

The location is phenomenal, the room spacious and clean, the kitchen has all that’s necessary, and the people super friendly. We’ll be back.

Had a very pleasant stay but unfortunately cannot come again due to the amount of wasps around every door, window, archway, etc. some wasp killer would help I’m sure but I believe it’s a bigger problem as every corner of the motel has its own swarm of them. Unlocking the doors takes a min and every min outside was stressful so it wouldn’t come to us and more importantly to our baby.

We booked a kitchenette. The unit we got had the bare essentials (a heat plate with limited cookware and cutlery and no stove). Our travel companions paid $20 less per night for an actual kitchette, with a balcony beside the pool, as well as an actual stove.

Great stay! Awesome location for my family - walking distance to everything we needed (the beach, LocoLanding, Coyote Cruises, and all the restaurants and ice cream shops). Would consider staying here again! We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor pool because the weather was a bit rainy, but hopefully next time! Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We even caught their Customer Appreciation Summer BBQ which was all complimentary from the motel.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful . They even did a bbq for their guests .hamburgers hotdogs and salads .

Accommodation prices were very high in Penticton on our date (several major events occurring). Other property options were gouging on their pricing ...but Riverside was favorably and competitive and provided a clean, comfortable, well-located option for our stay. Thank you!
