Motel One provide clean and stylish facilities with a good shower. Very happy with Basel hotel

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff assisted with all needs. Location in Basel was excellent, in the heart of old town providing for easy walking tours.

The location is in the heart of Basel. I requested and stayed on the floor with the balcony overlooking Barfusser Platz and recommend that. If you are traveling with a car and luggage, parking is not at the hotel. Breakfast is good with everything except, eggs/ bacon. The rooms are large and clean but have no other amenities like a fridge (accessible at front desk), safe...

We really enjoyed our stay at Motel One in Basel. The room was spacious and clean, beds comfortable, the breakfast was various, and the location was ideal. We found the staff helpful and friendly.

Motel One Basel was conveniently and centrally located. The hotel is next to Barfusserplatz, so check if there are any events in the plaza if you are concerned about noise and crowds. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and nice to have available. Basel hotels offer the "Basel card" which provides free local trams/bus travel and discounts on museums and other attractions. I appreciated the hotel bar which had a nice selection of gins. I would stay here again.

great location. great room. My luggage was lost by the airline and everyone at the hotel was a help in getting my bag retrieved and delivered just 5 minutes before our scheduled departure.

Location was fantastic in the old town where all the atmosphere is, a 5min walk to the Kunstmuseum, 5min walk to City Hall, 10min walk to the Rhine river banks and 3min walk to the Munster church and many other museums

Staff were great

Location is fantastic. Room was okay. Small thing- there wasn't a bin in the room which I found unhelpful. The shower was lovely. The bed was comfy.
