A wonderful experience at this home stay. This honesty is further out form the other home stays, closer to where they originally were located which means you get less tour boats driving past and privacy. The day tour to the community islands was fantastic. the food is simple and delicious! As it’s an island I would bring more snacks or drinks as there is no where to purchase them. Wifi works for basic stuff. Easy to arrange the pick up, the host will be at the port and drop you off whenever you need. Would highly recommend.

Wow, Uros Titicaca Lodge is simply out of this world. The uniqueness of the property has to be experienced to be believed. The hospitality of Celia and her three sons was wonderful. The welcome you to your home, prepare delicious food, take you in yours and look after all your needs. The rooms are simple and beautiful. Highlights for me include Ivan’s dinner stories and crafting in the afternoon sun with Celia. We loved every second of our 2 night stay.

Our night at Uros Titicaca Lodge was the best one of our entire trip to Peru!! Eder and his family provided the most unique and special experience. From the outstanding and beautifully prepared meals by Eder's mother to the fantastic educational community tour, we felt warmly welcomed to this incredible island. A true highlight was just lounging under the hand-woven umbrellas taking in the spectacular lake view and watching the ducks paddle by. We would urge everyone to stay here and learn about this amazing community!

We had a lovely stay at this lodge and would highly recommend for a true cultural homestay experience. We were picked up from the bus station and then transported to the Island and welcomed by the family. The island was very relaxing and our room was lovely. The meals were all fantastic and they did a great job catering for my vegetarian diet. We also took an island tour with Ivan and he taught about the culture and way of life. Fantastic stay!

What a great experience to spend a night on a floating island with a great family! Everything was so well organized. The pick-up from the hotel in Puno with a mini-van was on time, 15 min ride to meet Ivan, the head of the family, that took us to the floating island on a boat (another 15 min). The mother greeted us with a hug and showed us to our room. The room was quite large and comfortable. It even had a shower, and if it is sunny you might get hot water (everything is solar power obviously). The mom dressed us with traditional clothes and Eider, one of the 3 sons, took us on a boat ride to visit the islands. He is quite a good tour guide. We played volleyball with neighbours! Then another ride on a traditional boat to learn about the construction of the islands, fishing and traditional way of life. You spend the little time left enjoying the peace and scenery of the lake. Meals are quite good and so fresh (fish, chicken, vegetables). Nights are cool, but you will have the surprise of a hot water bottle in your bed that will keep you warm. The next day they did our on-line check-in for our flight so we would not get overbooked and arranged for a taxi to the airport. This was one of the best days of our vacation, so much nicer than staying in Puno and taking a short day tour to the islands. If you have just a day in Titicaca, definitely book a stay at Uros lodge.

Our two night stay at Uros Titicaca Lodge was one of our most unique experiences ever. Ivan and his family were very attentive and did everything possible to make us comfortable. Meals cooked by Ivan's mother were tasty and nutritious. We were able to visit other islands and see everyday life in the Uros. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable but it was very cold and there was no heat anywhere. We are very glad we visited the Uros and that we chose Uros Titicaca Lodge as a place to stay, however be aware that the accommodations are very rustic and will not appeal to everyone. If you want an authentic Uros experience Uros Titicaca Lodge is a good choice.

Ivan and his family are incredible! This place is well maintained, the food is great, and the entire place is very comfortable. My boyfriend was having issues with altitude sickness and the family was so accommodating, they even made him a special tea to help him feel better. I highly recommend this place - worth every penny!!!

Ivan and his family go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. All meals were wonderful and the tour of the Uros islands was fascinating. It can get a bit chilly at night but the hot water bottle in the bed at night made a huge difference. If you are even considering this lodge, I would highly recommend it. It is something I had never experienced before and I am really glad I did.
