Great hotel for a Comox stopover

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy with nice linens. Good location close to restaurants and shopping.

The rooms are modern, newly renovated and the bed was comfortable. Large towels and TV were better than most 3* accommodations. The air conditioning unit was a bit loud so I had to have it off to sleep. The rooms did not seemed very sealed around the air con/ heat units and the windows and sills were not replaced so sound from outside was an issue when people were talking late or early morning. The showers squealed loudly when showering so that was noisy from other guests in the building. I also appreciated the vehicle charging available and the extremely attentive staff on site.

Staff at the hotel was nice but property feels old even if the rooms are “updated” The bathroom was an awkward shape and the door was hard to get open. You could hear everything going on outside the room and people were outside making noise till midnight. Overall ok but definitely not worth what they are charging

The staff was friendly. Very helpful. The pool looked like a great place to hang out for the day. However we never had a chance.

The room was clean enough, however when an advertise a kitchenette, there’s no microwave no toaster only one frying pan and a stove top with two burners that did not work very well. Had trouble even frying an egg. The rooms are very small.

What a great place to stay! We were there for one night, on our way to the ferry. Our room was very clean, very close to dining options and very well maintained and comfortable. It seems very well managed- and the extras- like a guest laundry and free EV charging- were wonderful. We highly recommend.

We arrived later in the evening and were greeted by a friendly front desk host who provided helpful information about the hotel amenities and recommended the best place to park based on the location of our room. The lobby was clean, welcoming and nicely renovated, creating a great first impression. Our room was on the second floor, which wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting there is no elevator, so it could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. The room itself was clean and had also been nicely updated. Unfortunately, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke that lingered throughout our stay. By the time we left the next morning, our clothes and belongings had absorbed the smell as well. The hotel is also pet friendly, which is great for those travelling with pets. However, we were beside a room with a dog that barked periodically. If you choose to stay here, I’d recommend asking whether your room is in a pet-friendly area and requesting a non-smoking room, as it appeared we may have been assigned a room where smoking had previously occurred. Since it was already after 10 p.m. when we arrived, we decided not to request a room change. Overall, the staff were wonderful, the location is convenient, and the renovations are a nice improvement. We would consider staying again, but next time we’d be sure to request a non-smoking room away from pets to make the experience even better.
