Good stay on Highway trans Canada between Thunder Bay and Manitoba

Room was clean enough and there is a shared kitchen with coffee. The view of the river was wonderful.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly pretty good for a little out of the motel also beautiful grounds and lots of seating outside to enjoy the view of the lake peaceful and quiet

Pet friendly for a fee which was completely expected and with out pack of 3 all was fine. There were a lot of other people stopping in who also had pets. Room was spacious with 2 beds, and everything worked as expected. Not new but all functional. Didn't partake the breakfast / kitchen area so can't comment. The only downfall ... no AC, although there was a fan and we had a fan with us to keep things coolish ... it was a hot 31 C out and needed to keep windows somewhat open to let cool air in. Keep in mind there isn't anything else around so meals, food, etc you will need to ensrue you have in advance or need to go back out. All in all ... fine for what we needed and a great price.

Clean enough. No A/C which was a surprise for us, but can was provided. Yard is a bit messy. Some windows not operational.

Was a good place for a quick overnight. The rooms were very basic but sufficient for my families needs.

Bed bugs and beyond. We had to go to a different motel 160 klm away the place was very bad worst experience of my 66 years of travelling

I didn’t expect the room to have no air conditioning, especially considering the price. Since it was summertime, the room became quite warm, and I found it difficult to sleep comfortably. I understand that the location may affect the pricing, but overall, I still found the accommodation overpriced for what was provided, particularly without air conditioning. On a positive note, the staff member who assisted me was very accommodating and helpful. I appreciate their excellent service, but I hope the hotel considers improving the room amenities or adjusting the pricing accordingly.

It was lovely to be next to the river and to nature. The staff person was very kind and helpful. Prices were reasonable and the room was clean, though the motel was certainly bare bones. A separate kitchen at the end of the property housed coffee and basic breakfast fixings (white bread, jam, peanut butter, a toaster). The traffic was very loud, given the property's location along the highway and it was quite audible inside the room. There are no shopping amenities nearby, so be prepared with whatever you need for the evening and the next morning.

Nice guy that works there, they have a guest kitchen for tea and coffee. Great view.

The employee who served us was very friendly but spoke too fast for us to understand him. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. The shower water went from hot to cold while showering. The bathtub wall and window need upgrade. The front window needed cleaning. The beds were comfortable and clean. Good spot for one overnight stay. Breakfast kitchen had the essentials.

A place to spend the night

this is an old motel that had his best days. First there is no AC and I think that I did not check correctly. Big storm during the night resulting into power lost . As the water is not connected to a municipality the water is on site pump that unfortunately is not equipped with an emergency generator. The end result is no light , no shower, no faucet, no toilet ...! Lesson do not planned a early morning shower, take it when water is available.

Nothing around there they have bread for toast in a room you can make your own coffee,tea

Perfectly adequate place to stop for a night. Not much for amenities but had what we needed including a fridge in the room. Room didn't have A/C but fans were provided and we slept fine.

Hotel is very outdated. Kitchen area needs upgrading. Only 2 ice cube trays for entire motel so first come first served. Located next to highway so listen to traffic all night. No A/C so room was hot.

Check in was good. Property run down. Outside needed painting. The room when we went in looked like cleaned well between guests. Unfortunately when we had a shower the tub for starters did not drain well at all. Then the grunge and grime started coming back up the drain and. there was a lot. Also noted mold around the bathroom window. No air-conditioning and could not open window due to heat and smoke. No microwave in the room but did tell us there was one available. This place has great potential with some work. Did not speak to staff about our issues as we were exhausted from a long drive thru a lot of smoke. We were gone by 6 the next morning.
