Very friendly, good food.

Hotel was well situated and staff very pleasant. The main issue was that our shower was not working at all with no water flowing, should have been checked upon cleaning the room

The room was clean and the location of the hotel was perfect. We could walk about a mile to visit Kenilworth Castle. This Castle is a hidden gem. Well worth your time to see this. The hotel is about 20 minutes rom both Warwick castle and Stratford upon Avon. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. We stayed 2 nights here.

Following some very negative recent reviews i didn't have high hopes for my stay. In fact its perfectly OK for a night or two. You wouldn't fancy it for your honeymoon, but to be honest the room was a good size with a comfy bed, the breakfast was acceptable and the parking is free. Its incredibly good value for money compared to the usual chain motels, and it does what it says on the tin.

The rooms aren't prefect, but the room had heating, beds are comfortable, shower was great and the large tub was good for a soak. Offering breakfast at a reasonable rate, and two types of restaurants downstairs, we had the Malaysian restaurant, which the food we could not fault. It was so yummy.

The room was small, but was clean and tidy, and had all the advertised amenities. The staff were more than helpful - I had to leave each morning by 07:15, but breakfast was advertised as 07:30 onwards...the manager arranged for the kitchen to open @ 06:30, just for me, so I could have a cooked breakfast before departure each day! How good is that? The breakfast was piping hot, and swiftly served - the evening meals were also hot, tasty and rapidly served. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to everyone.

Very friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. 24hr reception was great too. Shower hot, no issues.

Everything was rundown

The room needs a big overhaul the carpet on my husband's side of the bed smelled of urine bathroom was not good at all.

Convenient location and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is a little tired in places but really for the price I don't think you can complain. Bed was comfy and clean. Room not massive but it doesn't need to be. We are in the restaurant both evenings and food was great and good value. Breakfast were good too. Parking was included and very convenient. Our only complaint really is the noise in the room (103). There was a utility cupboard next door with I assume a boiler in it and it was extremely noisy during the early hours. Not for long and only 2 or 3 bursts (assume when someone on the floor was having an early morning shower or something), but was quite disturbing the first time we heard it! Other than that no complaints at all and will stay again if we're in the area

Nice convenient stay at the Peacock hotel. Couldn’t fault the friendliness and care the staff showed us but feel in some areas, particularly the bedrooms and en-suites, could do with a refresh and update. Having said that, had a good nights sleep after an amazing meal at the hotel and a lovely breakfast. Thank you for having us.

The room was very dirty - not just tired looking, as for this price my expectations were quite low but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so dirty - walls in bathroom were splattered with god knows what, skirting boards caked in what looked like years old dust, hair in the shower, sheets were marked and stained. The room we had was made with what felt like paper thin walls and ceiling - we heard everything that was going on upstairs and across the hall. Would not stay here again unfortunately.

Room very small, had to inch around the bed to get in the other side, bathroom also small with toilet up against the shower cubicle. Shower had mould around the bottom of tray and on some tiles, toilet brush was unclean and water went down slowly in hand dasin. Small black flies in bathroom. Not very clean. Room could do with a good clean and stairs leading to room. Also room wasn't cleaned after the first night, bed not made, no fresh towels, mugs used and not changed and no top up of coffee and milk, when i asked about room not being cleaned i was told it should have been!!!!!!! But no offer to come up and do it. Hotel is in a great location, car park is a good size, thats all i can say. Didn't try breakfast or the restaurant, ate out.

Needs updating

Food was good, room was clean except for mould in the shower and behind the wash basin and the telly didn't work. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely place. Staff friendly. Good parking. Perfect for what we needed.

The location is good, it needs a lot of cleaning, I was walking up the stairs and I saw chicken wing bones on the stairs, the staff is a 1. At 08:00 I knocked on the door to ask if I wanted to eat. You don't have time to rest. I don't really recommend it.
