Staying at The Store was a pleasure. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and polite. The room was comfortable with excellent facilities and a beautiful calm interior decorating scheme. I would happily stay again if visting Oxford.

Roof top bar was great for cocktails, coffee very nice in the lobby bar. Room was great.

Amazing staff and beautiful facilities

Room was clean but the floor had a really bad sewage smell and there was no reception at all with my phone service. You can only spend 60mins in the spa area then asked to leave which is something we aren’t use to. However a nice modern space.

We highly recommend The Store which is very centrally located in Oxford with easy access to the train and bus depots. Thoughtful decor and furnishings in our Superior Super King Room provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Surprise touches that we appreciated included listening to a Jazz Divas LP on a phonograph and receiving a Christmas stocking filled with goodies. Room was very clean and spacious. Large bathroom with double sinks, a shower and a huge seperate tub. Good quality amenities were replenished daily. Excellent staff; everyone we met was professional, engaged, and ready to help. Overall, we had an excellent stay!

This is a lovely well run modern hotel. Location is great and walkable and it has a nice bar. A good value as of January 2026.

An amazing hotel, the service was perfect and an unexpected upgrade really appreciated. Our room was lovely, beautiful and clean and the little extras (chocolate and champagne) really appreciated, (also don’t forget to look in the fridge which is ‘hidden’ in the wardrobe!) Bathroom was spacious and had lovely products and thick luxurious towels. Staff were so friendly and full of advice and tips, they made you feel special and welcomed. However breakfast was a little underwhelming, cooked options not to my taste, it may have been better to offer a selection of breakfast items to choose from, also (and I’ve seen this in other reviews), the continental breakfast area is very tight, it would be better for the Store to extend this and have the continental items separate to the tea and coffee making machines - it gets a little crowded!

Staff very courteous and professional, Twin room was well appointed with two small double beds that were ever so comfy, bathrobes and slippers, lovely little tea and coffee corner, indulgent toiletries and to top it all an unexpected bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. We would love to go back and enjoy the rooftop bar and thermal suite next time. We were a group of 4 friends staying for one night.
