Delightful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Distant sea views over a combination of olive groves, vineyards, scrubland and a disused quarry gave a hint of the Santorini of previous generations, as did the pricing in their excellent nearby restaurant. The location may not be at the same level as the rooms but the pricing more than compensates for that.

We stayed at Elessa for 6 nights. It was amazing! The room was extremely spacious with the largest bath I've ever seen. We had a private pool with an incredible view. The main pool area was stunning and we did not use it enough. Location was unexpectedly perfect. Pyrgos is a really pretty little hilltop town with some great views and food, away.from the crowds of the major city. Breakfast was delicious each day, and the bar had a great range of cocktails. We ate at the restaurant one night and ordered room service on several others. Our only regret with the restaurant was to know to order a fish of the day the day before as they don't have them available if you don't preorder. My only slightest recommendation to the management would be to have an extra bottle of water in the room each day.

Everything we hoped for in a 3 days stay. Beautiful hotel, great location, already planning a trip back. This was our 5th time in Santorini and by far the best accommodations. Thank you for creating an exceptional experience!

Such a friendly and helpful staff. This was the best travel experience and hotel stay we have ever had. If you want to have staff that can recommend great authentic palces to eat and the spots you can go without a lot of tourists, this is it. Also there is an amazing view from your room. Just beautiful no matter the time of day.

My husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon in Greece. We both left with our expectations met and exceeded! This hotel is in a more peaceful location compared to the business of Oia or Fira, but still close enough to drive to most locations on the island in 15-25 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed using our heated private pool and eating the free breakfast every morning. Staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Our flight didn’t leave until 9 p.m. The staff allowed us to leave our baggage with them in a secure location and use the facilities even after our checkout time! Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant trip. If we are ever on the Island of Santorini, we will certainly book here again!
