Hotel VIP Singkawang offers a comfortable overall stay. The building is relatively new, so it's in good condition and well-maintained. The rooms are also comfortable for relaxing. The staff is very friendly and responsive, which is one of the most noticeable plus points during your stay. The hotel also features a cafe, making it easy to grab a bite to eat or just relax. A convenience store or convenience store is also recommended. It's located in a residential area with poor road access. There are also dogs in the surrounding area, so those without private vehicles might want to reconsider, as mobility can be difficult. Overall, this hotel is still a worthy choice, especially due to the excellent staff service and the excellent condition of the building.

The room was clean, but unfortunately, when I stayed that night, the power went out four times, and then I just left. Thankfully, when I got home, the lights didn't go out again. The entire floor (the second floor) was completely blacked out. I don't know if it was due to a short circuit or what, but fortunately, I only stayed there for one day 😩 My suggestion is that each room be given its own MCB.

I stayed at HOTEL VIP SINGKAWANG for 4 nights. The reception staff were friendly and check-in was fast. A deposit of IDR 100,000 is required. There is no lift, which can be inconvenient for elderly guests or anyone with heavy luggage. At night, it can be quite noisy. The room soundproofing is poor—I could clearly hear children shouting in the neighboring room. Room cleaning is available upon request. However, if you forget to ask, there will be no reminder even if you previously requested cleaning for consecutive days. You can borrow items from the receptionist either via WhatsApp or over the counter, which is convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room size was good. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee were provided. The toilet was clean, with toilet paper, a toothbrush set, and 2-in-1 shampoo provided. It’s better to bring your own toiletries as the shampoo doesn’t smell very pleasant. The towel was not very soft but it absorbed water well. Water pressure was weak and not very comfortable for showering. The shower has a rainfall head that can only be adjusted in direction and cannot be detached, making it difficult if you don’t want to wash your hair. Overall, it was a good stay for the price paid. It would be even better if the water pressure could be improved.

The hotel is hidden in the center cause we not familiar with the place. And also the kitchen close at 7/8 . Overall the hotel is nice ☺️

Overall it's ok, but the location is a bit convoluted... even online taxis are confused because the location is in a winding alley... suggestion, try making a signpost so people understand... especially at night... the road to the location makes you get lost... this hotel is actually really good.

Hotel unit in a residential area, new building condition, when I was staying there before checking out there was a problem with the lights going out.

The price and quality of this hotel are very good, the hotel is clean, the price is pocket-friendly, and the hotel is nice and smells good, you won't regret staying here.

Clean, really worth the money, but access to the housing complex is quite tricky, but I will definitely repeat my booking if I go to Singkawang.
