The room had fab view across the bay. Room clean and good shower, in a fresh bathroom. View was spoilt somewhat by the large number of cigarette stubs present on the flat roof of hotel entrance (obviously been deposited out of windows). Bottom of wardrobe damaged. Comfy bed, but sleep interrupted by (very) noisy guests in early hours. Staff excellent and good point being dog friendly. Would have been good value for money if sleep not disturbed!

There was a door in my room which led directly to the room next door. It was locked, but coukd hear every word from that room Otherwise, everything was spot on

The hotel was ok. Receptionists mint. 2 problems we had was the room was very cold, was unbearable had to put my coat on in the bed didn't sleep at all it was extremely cold tried everything to keep warm the radiator was luke warm!!! The bathroom inertia was really outdated needs a urgent update.

The hotel could do with a big paint inside,certainly wasn’t a 8.2 that was on website,we felt uncomfortable as it’s been used to accommodate homeless people

The place was very tired and needs updating. The breakfast is best skipped. Mold on in package croissants... Not returning and regret booking.

Lovely room and enjoyable stay

Most staff were lovely. Slightly rude male staff member in the breakfast room on boxing day. Room was clean but in need of a touch up. It could have been warmer in the bedroom and with blankets available to use without having to ask. The dining room was freezing for breakfast. The view was amazing and nice quiet location. Good value for money. A lovely couple of nights away

Excellent friendly staff

The staff very friendly and helpful. I was given a standard room instead of a superior room. It was very basic but when I complained they changed my room immediately to a superior which was good value for money. Just a shame they didn’t look properly at the booking and look at what I’d paid for but they did sort it out and were apologetic

There seems to be a continuous array of foulmouthed people in the foyer and outside the building, my room was above the front entrance and there were several people shouting and swearing outside throughout the evening.

Needs bit of blc, once updated it’s a lovely hotel and staff friendly. Beds need replacing

Lovely room, peaceful night, always a pleasure

Room was clean and adequate. Only issue was lack of breathing with both radiators in the room and bathroom bin functioning. Reception provided electric heater which solved the issue.

Major issue with the heating. Both radiators in bedroom and bathroom were not radiating on coldest day of the year so far. Appreciated the addition of an electric stand alone radiator. Staff appreciated the issue.

Clean and comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast. A new TV remote and a working wall light wouldn't go amiiss but for menot a problem.
