This was a hidden little gem I wish I had found on previous trips. The local vibe and location are awesome. I will say that the only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars was due to two things. The cleaning crew left their cleaning supplies on the counter, not a huge deal, however, the loud neighbors at 2, 3, 4 am were a little overboard.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gapelli boutique Hotel. Location was excellent. The room was quite hot. Would be great if at least one window opened to let fresh breeze in. We stayed in late April. I can only imagine in July August. It would be extremely hot and humid in there. Otherwise really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Host. The room was clean and spacious. Lots of hooks in the bathroom (always a plus) and places for clothes in the room. The bed was very big (Kingsize UK) and comfortable. Kitchenette was great especially having a fridge. It was very quiet in the room at all times. The location was perfect just a minute to the beautiful old square with lots of places to eat and drink. Local Spar shop was well stocked and just a 2 minute walk. Train station was about a 20 minute slow walk but regular buses were just a few minutes walk away. We would recommend this quirky property to anyone visiting Alkmaar.

Great location in center of Alkmaar! Shops & restaurants right outside the door. The hotel is beautiful and our room was great. The lofted room would not work well for someone with mobility challenges but worked well for us. Very responsive communication from the hotel! Would happily stay there again.

Very easy access, very clean, and 4 minute walk from the Alkmaar cheese market on Fridays.

The Boutique hotel was a gem. Everything was new and location was perfect. Even a discount on parking was available. So quiet and cozy

The history of Grapèlli is very interesting, and so is the architecture of the hotel. Definitely not a cookie cutter hotel, wonderful atmosphere, very comfortable rooms, friendly and welcoming staff.

Clean, cool and well located. The key system took a bit of getting used to, but really nice staff.

Property was great and included cooking facilities and washing machine/drier. Host Reggie was very friendly and gave us great local knowledge.

Loistava sijainti, siisti huone mutta pimeä. Huone #3 oli korkea, päivänvaloa ei tullut kuin pienestä kattoikkunasta. Kylpyhuone tulvi suihkun jälkeen mutta onneksi saimme lisää lattiapyyhkeitä. Siivooja oli todella ystävällinen nuori nainen. Parasta tässä hotellissa oli sijainti ja hyvä sänky.

Nettes Zimmer (Nr 12) jedoch war jedes Geräusch von aussen und innen zu hören. Schlicht zu laut.

De kamer was prachtig, ruim en schoon. De locatie is fantastisch om Almaar te verkennen. Veel restaurants in de buurt en vlakbij een parkeergarage waar je je auto kwijt kan. Het hotel heeft geen receptie en je kunt er niet ontbijten maar er zijn mogelijkheden om in de stad te ontbijten bijv bij restaurant Echt: heerlijk!

Hele mooie studio. Zeer schoon. Top locatie aan de rand van het centrum van Almaar.

A very nice, clean hotel vid a top location!

Ligger perfekt i centrum, tæt på parkeringshus, shopping, restauranter, barer - alt! Vi havde et dejligt og smukt værelse, der var bare mere lydt end hvad vi er vant til, du kan feks. høre klokkespillet fra kirken, nogle er til det, andre ikke. Hjælpsomme Reggie kunne hjælpe med hvad som helst og anbefalinger til spisesteder.

Super leuk hotel. Ik zou het zeker weer boeken.
