The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend.

The room was clean and amenities provided adequate. Parking is an issue and depends on the availability of an unsupervised pay-and-display car park at a church that is within a 5 minute walk. There is a process to be followed (via codes and lockbox) to gain access to the hotel via a door beside waste bins. Information on this is provided remotely by a helpful staff member, The staff member engaged for this (Heather) was friendly and very helpful over the phone). The hotel is also a nightclub and hence guests need to be aware and prepared for loud music until the early hours on Fridays and Saturdays. (Ear-plugs were provided). The location of the hotel is very convenient for the beach/waterfront and is a short walk from the central area of town.

This property was so bad we moved after 1 night. DO NOT STAY HERE

I wish I spent more time looking at places to stay. I just ended up picking this place. There's no parking for the this place but there parking up the road at the church, the hotel is above the pub which I didn't relaise until I got I message with the details which by then it was to late to cancell without being charged. Entering the building it smelled very bad some musty dusty smell. The room and TV was ok passable. I tell you what is not passable is to be left with out heading all night. I rang the number on the door straight to voicemail, rang the property via hotel.com telephone number not recognised. Messsaged via hotel.com and no response. The pub didn't open until 9pm and close till 3 am I wasn't going to traipse around looking for a staff to get told to contact hotel.com.

Clean room, central spot in town

almost everything was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and i especially liked the self check-in as i’m a bit awkward. However, the room was very cold, even when i had the window, blinds, doors shut and was in the bed under the quilt. Also the toilet didn’t flush unless you pulled the handle quickly, around 15 times. Other then that, it was a great hotel for the weekend, i had a great time!

The area and facility was great; basic but close to good areas in Aberystwyth. Good for students or persons looking for a one-night stay in a walkable area of town. Room was a bit dingy: the headboard needs a good clean (greasy from past occupants) and there was some dirt on a few of the light switches. A good deep clean will correct that easily.

Night one peaceful night 2 could not sleep.as the people in the next room were talking till 4.30 am.in the morning so could not sleep as it so noisy

The stay was enjoyable and lovely. Room was clean and just what we needed. Noise was a bit much on the second day, but once we was asleep it wasn’t bad (minus the fire alarm) Overall no complaints,

Never encountered any staff, so I cannot comment there. The room was larger than I expected. It was neat and clean but a little worn. They warn you it is loud-this is very true. I could not find any earplugs in the local shops. They should consider leaving disposable earplugs for guests.

Clear instructions to check in. Room was clean and well equipped. Bed was reasonably comfortable. The room was very warm. There is heat coming from the floor and the windows can’t be opened. Two large stand fans are provided help’s but some form of air con is needed. Place felt secure and was quiet, though the club wasn’t open.

The room was lush and very cozy but the only thing that went wrong was there was no tv remote couldn't find it nowhere and the room was very hot no air conditioning or fan to cool down while on the hot days whie we were staying and the shower turns off just by being in it for 2 minutes.

I was concerned about the potential for noise pollution, considering that the accommodation was located above a bar (this wasn't apparent prior to booking and I feel that it should have been) however, we stayed Wed/Thur night and we didn't find noise to be an issue; it was very quiet. Entering the accommodation via a side entraced where the bins were stored was a little disconcerting (poorly lit) but once inside we felt very safe. It was very clean and comfortable, the only things of note was that the bed base was damaged creating a big dip in one side of the bed (we stuffed a couple pillows underneath and that did the trick!) and the bathroom door didn't shut properly. It would have been nice to have more milk, a mini fridge, spare loo roll and spare bin bag. It was okay for a 2 night stay, it was cheap and cheerful. Would I stay again, maybe...

Good stay comfortable and fullfilled our needs
