Great place to stay.

I was notified two days before my arrival that there were protests outside the hotel, and that I should exercise caution approaching the facility. I was told that vehicles would not be able to approach the hotel and I would need to walk from a nearby intersection through the protests to get to the hotel. I asked to cancel the reservation for a refund, but my request was refused because I was told the hotel was still operating and offering it’s normal services. The staff offered to have the bellboy escort me to and from the nearest point where I could take a taxi or uber. Given the totality of the circumstances,I was concerned for my safety so I booked at a different hotel. I was charged for the night. I am deeply disappointed by the hotels unwillingness to accommodate my request. given that the circumstances were beyond my control and my request was based on a concern for my personal safety.

Clean property, good price, few blocks from el zocalo across the street from casa de los azulejos and museo de bellas artes, safe the breakfast is amazing and have really good price, across the street from a bank and an ATM. I definitely recommend.

The inside of the hotel was clean and so were the rooms however the staff was very cheap on providing additional towels. We were given two per room. If anyone travels with a woman, we’re all aware that women typical use 2 towels, one for their hair and one for their body. The towels were also super old, and the quality was really rough. Lastly, the hotel failed to mention the Main Street was blocked off due to protesters. It was really unpleasant walking through people sleeping in tents outside of hotel. It was uncomfortable and unclean.

The location was such a great location, we were able to explore many locations that were at walking distances.

The hotel itself is in a very good area. It's walking distance to the Zocalo and many restaurants, Starbucks, and stores. The Palacio de Bellas Artes is literally across the street. You can see several city highlights within a mile or two of the hotel. The rooms are narrow but very modern and comfy. We were a family of four and it was great. The mini fridge in the room is refilled by staff with water, snacks, soft drinks and beer courtesy of the hotel. All hotel staff was very helpful and attentive. The only downside, which was out of the hotel's control, was the "tent city" of teachers who happen to be protesting during our trip. They were camped out along the front of the hotel and businesses. However, this was only a short lived eye sore as it didn't impact our trip at all. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Mexico City.

The staff was really nice very good service, the restaurant food was great taste and an every quiet hotel! I love the hotel is very clean recommend to stay in Bella’s Artes!

Staff is very friendly, hotel very clean but the water from the shower runs to the room if you are not careful.

We couldn’t stay at this hotel since there were a lot of manifestations happening outside the hotel. There were camps outside blocking the entrance. It was a huge disappointment, since we really wanted to stay around this historic area.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bellas Artes and highly recommend it! The entire property was spotlessly clean, and our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The staff truly made our experience special—they were incredibly friendly, professional, and always went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. We had such a great time, and we will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Mexico City!
