Room clean, staff polite and helpful, good parking. Very good breakfast lots of choices

An ideal place to stay in a beautiful area with nice personal touch from the staff. We appreciate how the place has its own unique way to present itself, in contrast with many more homogeneous standard hotels. The room was lovely and the restaurant was quite excellent. We hope to visit again.

Room was just brilliant. Overall facilities were excellent. Breakfast was nice apart from kids running about (but that not thw hotels fault) one of the best rooms I've stayed in in the UK

The room & bathroom were spotless and beautifully decorated with lovely soft furnishings. All staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was superb. We were worried about noise at night but the village and road beside the pub fell silent at about 10.30. No problem with noise at all. We will definitely stay here again.

First stay at the Fleur De Lys and it didn’t disappoint. A warm, welcoming typical English pub with the added luxuries of a modern hotel making it a brilliant place to stay. The room was well equipped, spacious, cosy and quiet. Food was great, breakfast had an excellent menu choice along with some excellent options for continental. The welcome cookie -give the baker a rise - and the milk was a very welcome touch. If you need fast internet, then that maybe the only downfall. Won’t hesitate to return!

The room was very comfort and spotless. And well decorated. The staff were excellent and the dinner and breakfast very good.

We picked this property because the dinner menu had 3 veggie options, and the food was very good. Our room was comfortable if small. It was mostly well presented except for very low light over the bed so reading after dark wasn’t possible.

Fabulous pub with comfortable well appointed rooms. Great service and excellent food. Sunday lunch was a real treat. Highly recommended.

Whole process was friendly, efficient and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay and would happily return and recommend it. The small finishing touches in the room were welcome and well thought out.

Arrival was very welcoming, small touches like the fresh milk and homemade cookies, pouches of filter coffee all added to the welcome. Room was very comfortable but would benefited from a chair as the only place to sit was on the bed. Staff were great as was dinner and breakfast.

This was our second stay at a Chickpea pub, both have been fantastic. The properties are beautiful, rooms are calming, staff are great, and the breakfasts are fantastic

Fabulous place to stay. The best I have stayed in for a long time. Super friendly knowledgeable staff lovely warm and comfortable rooms. Great beers on hand pull and a very tasty steak and stout pie.

Lovely place, stylishly comfortable and homely. Above all staff were all genuinely helpful and thoughtful in looking after us, but always in a friendly, happy kind of way.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfortable. Food wonderful as was the staff and service. Cannot fault my stay and will be staying again
