I had a nice experience staying here. It's suitable for guests who just need a place to sleep or rest. The receptionist is also helpful and friendly (Mr. Kenrick CK). The service before and after staying is good. There is flexibility for dropping baggage (before check-in) and temporary baggage storage (after check-out). Hotel 81 Elegance is near two public buses. For MRT, you still need to walk a bit longer/far. There are also many choices of culinary near the hotel (but mostly non-halal). They also have drinkable water from tap water; so far, I haven't had any stomach issues after drinking it. They provide hot water and amenities like a toothbrush, soap, and towel. For improvement, the bathroom floor is a bit slippery.

Comfortable hotel, comfortable atmosphere

A lot of cockroaches climb around the bedroom.

The staff wasn't very friendly. And I think staying here isn't very safe because the locks are manual, no card. And when I first got the room, it smelled really chemical. The sheets were dirty, too. The mattress was hard. All the electrical outlets were loose 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel 81 Elegance. The service was truly satisfying, especially thanks to the receptionist, Samuel C.K., who was very helpful and welcoming. We arrived early at around 11 AM, and to our surprise, we were already allowed to check in without any additional charge. Not only that, but we were also given a room with a great view at no extra cost, which made our experience even more special. The room was clean and pleasantly fragrant. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent—strong and consistent—and the hot water worked perfectly. Another great feature was the availability of drinking water directly from the tap, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel for future visits. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff are very friendly, but sorry to say the room floor when wet looks like it has oil on it and becomes slippery, it would be good to evaluate this so that unwanted things don't happen.

Cleanliness is good, relatively affordable, and location is great

It was great to stay here, the bus shelter was close, around 200 m, and there was a halal food resto around Lavender. The nearest MRT station was about 700 m. The room was clean, and we could request to clean the room if staying more than 1 night.

A bit far from MRT Station, walking 10 minutes to MRT Farrer Park and around 8 minutes to MRT Bendemeer. The service is good, the room is cleaned daily.

The MRT is not far, passing several food centers. You can stop and eat there for a cheap price.

It's very tight and complicated to get in here, the pillows are very thin and the room smells like it's been unoccupied for a long time... It's a long distance to the MRT...
