Great hotel. Location is inside JR station building. Don't need to drag your suitcase outside the building to reach your hotel.

In general it 's very good, owner is very kind and responsible. However I do suggest to have meal option a bit cause at Zao is quite hard to find a restaurant especially on weekend.

I had a very pleasant stay in this lodge. The hosts, Ko-san and Toki-san are very friendly and helpful person. The lodge is clean, well maintained and has nice view just outside the lodge. It is about 15-mins walking distance (uphill) from the bus station, you will want to consider contact the host for pick-up if you are with your heavy luggage. I went during winter season, and there are a few ski-fields just few steps away from the lodge, very convenient and warm lodge. Will definitely come back again.
