Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall

Built in 1976, this place was built in memory of Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of the Republic of China. With 89 steps as the entrance, this museum houses documents and some president’s belongings, as well as Chiang Kai-shek bronze statue that reads "Ethics", "Democracy", and "Science". Not only that, the hourly changing of the honor guards also became one of the main attractions of this site.
