Traveloka Crazy Sale Jakarta: Celebrate the 494th Anniversary of DKI Jakarta by Supporting the Jakarta Bangkit Program from DKI Jakarta Government Together with 400 Partners

Jakarta, 18 June 2021 - In celebration of DKI Jakarta 494th Anniversary, Traveloka, Southeast Asia's lifestyle superapp, through one of its business units, Traveloka Xperience, is participating in the Jakarta Bangkit movement initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government by unveiling a special promotional program, Traveloka Crazy Sale Jakarta. In collaboration with nearly 400 partners in the lifestyle sector, this initiative aligns with Traveloka's commitment to promoting national economic recovery, particularly in the tourism and lifestyle sector, which is one of the most affected sectors by the COVID-19 pandemic. Taking place on 17-27 June 2021, consumers will be able to use various special offers and discounts of up to 75% for Traveloka Xperience products, ranging from Attractions, Entertainment, Spa & Beauty, Sports, Playgrounds, Tours, to COVID-19 Tests.

With the theme "Jakarta Bangkit" for this year's anniversary of DKI Jakarta, the DKI Jakarta government hopes to encourage the spirit of collaboration in reviving the city of Jakarta in this pandemic era. The theme "Jakarta Bangkit" was also raised to signify the revival of the economy, social justice, and sustainable development to create a resilient DKI Jakarta. It's aligned with Traveloka's commitment to positively contribute encouraging the local tourism economy, including DKI Jakarta, as one of the factors driving the revival of the national economy, which underlies Traveloka to participate in the celebration of DKI Jakarta's 494th anniversary.

Anies Baswedan, Governor of DKI Jakarta, expressed his warm welcome towards Traveloka's efforts in accelerating the economic recovery of DKI Jakarta's tourism through the Traveloka Crazy Sale Jakarta program. “Since the pandemic broke out in the country, the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economic Office recorded that tourism business actors experienced a significant decline in income up to 75% due to declining consumer demand. It underlies us to take the theme 'Jakarta Rise' in celebrating the anniversary of DKI Jakarta this year. We continue the collaboration between the government and the private sector to revive the economy in the DKI Jakarta area and nationally. Hopefully, the presence of Traveloka Crazy Sale Jakarta can contribute positively and have a significant impact in helping business actors in the tourism sector, especially in Jakarta. Hence, it can be a successful archetype collaboration that must always be encouraged.”

Aside from helping partners, especially SME partners to maintain their business amid a pandemic, this program also allows consumers to fulfill their lifestyle needs at an exceptional prices while still implementing strict health protocols. The Crazy Sale Jakarta program starts from June 17 to June 27, 2021, covering Traveloka Xperience products and services in the Greater Jakarta area and its surroundings. Consumers can use the special offers with discounts of 75% and additional discounts of up to 50% for Spa and Beauty products, COVID-19 Tests, Sports, Attractions, Playgrounds, Entertainment, and Tours in these regions. Additional coupons of up to 50% can be found by playing the games available on the Traveloka Xperience page. Every consumer has the opportunity to get additional coupons every day during the Crazy Sale Jakarta period, with terms and conditions applied. Traveloka Crazy Sale Jakarta also provides innovative technology-based solutions for partners by selling the products and services through the Live Stream channel in the Traveloka app to make it easy for consumers to find exciting holiday activities in the city. Collaborating with various partners, such as Ocean Dream, Seaworld, and Kidzooona, Live Stream activities also help partners to reach more consumers, thereby unlocking higher sales potential. Live Stream activities will be held on June 24, 2021.
