Can I change or correct the passenger name on my flight ticket?

In some cases, you may request a name correction for your flight ticket, depending on the airline's policy.

Each airline or specific flight may have a different policy for name correction, including the types of corrections allowed, required documents, and applicable fees.

Regardless of the policy, your request may have different outcomes:

  • Allowed to submit the request via Traveloka.
  • You are required to contact the airline directly to make the request.
  • You may not need to make any changes to the passenger's name.
  • Or, in some cases, name changes or corrections are not allowed at all by the airline.

Some important notes

  • Processing time depends on the airline's working hours (usually Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00).
  • Some airlines may charge handling or correction fees.
  • Prepare your documents before making a request (national identity card, passport, and your flight e-ticket).
