Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Pool staff, bar staff and dining staff were great.

Food and drink were great ,Entertainment was wonderful dance party lots of fun ,Beach is great for swimming could use a few more populars as sun was very hot .It's a very large hotel with 5 elevators at least two were broke down most of the time .The room keys were a problem I had to get mine recharged every day sometimes 3 times a day very aggravating

The food at their sister property next door was much better. We went there often during our week stay. The a/c’s leaked in main areas, the beds are harder than I’ve ever slept on. Harder than cruise ship beds. I had back surgery in December and was in a lot of pain during this trip just from the bed. The spa was under construction, so we had to go next door and pay first, then come back for our massages. There isn’t a lot of activities or night life at this one. They have a party on Friday but that’s all we saw. Again, you have to go next door for entertainment. We chose this resort for it being adults only…not to still have to go next door and be at the family resort. The beach area was ok. After all I read I expected the best vacay of our lives in Aruba. Overall it was great to be on vacation, relaxing, and ties in the sand, but Aruba was just “meh” for us as well as this Riu.

Property was a bit outdated, the RIU Palace family resort next door appeared much newer, but otherwise an excellent choice based on cleanliness, attentiveness of staff, location (best section of Palm beach), access to activities, on-set casino, shops, and dining options with relatively good food for an all-inclusive

While the wait-staff and customer service was amazing, and cleanliness of the resort was the same, the overall condition of the hotel's accommodations were lack luster at best. Our party had two rooms (on different floors) and we both noticed obvious signs of wear and tear. The carpet throughout the hotel needs replacing, the shower would overrun with water, the refrigerator had a mysterious build up on its exterior, and the bathroom showed its age (chipped mirror, broken towel rack). Finally, the food wasn't horrible, nor was it over the moon delectible. If I would ever return, it would be because of the customer service and the super friendly wait staff.

The only bad thing was the entertainment around the adult pool bar. They had one speaker they moved around and tried to get people playing games. Should have multiple people and more "ADULT " type games. A foam party might be different.

The service in the hotel was bad. We paid for the elite premium room and service and for the money we paid the service was poor. To get a taxi we had to go to the street because the even bother to call for this service. The buffet restaurant was pretty bad and if you go to the restaurant for the elite premium you loose the hole night there because the waitress are lost all the time, they didn’t ask you what you want for drink or anything like that. We paid too muuuuch money for nothing

The property was very nice and clean ! Fun activities! I feel the rooms need to be updated and there was a mildew smell in the hallways and also near the lobby !

We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. Very clean and beautiful but not as elegant as the RIU palace next door.

Amazing property overall. I would definitely stay there again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food was amazing everywhere we went, excursions were worth it.. it was a great experience. Some minor cons: - the hallway to our room smelled really bad. - there is a motion sensor light in the bathroom of our room. It would turn off after about 10 seconds of being “still” (sometimes it wouldn’t register a movement). And then it would turn back on after it sensed movement again. It was very annoying, especially at night, to have it constantly turning on and off whenever you do anything in the bathroom. Plus it made a ticking sound every time it turned on or off. - the check in process took a very long time. The staff was still friendly and the free champagne helped, but it still took too long. - the spa was closed (due to renovations). Not a huge deal, but our online reservation did not register when we tried to book something for it. We had to talk with a representative and then go to the sister hotel to ensure our appointment was booked. - towels smelled kind of old and musty.

Overall could be more upgraded for cost of stay. Restaurant options/long waits. Night life/entertainment

Great property. It’s a little challenging getting into the specialty restaurants without Elite Club and the carpet in the hallways was dirty and smelled a little bit. The elevators took forever as well. The pool and beach were fantastic though. Would stay again.

The riu antillas was nice and clean but when we arrived they told us they gave all of the rooms away and didnt have one for us. They put us in the riu palace for one night. The front desk was unorganized. They told us to go to the wrong building for our room. We got stuck in the elevator. Our trip got better once we finally got a room at antillas.

The food was not good but the location and staff were excellent
