We really enjoyed our stay at the Adlerhof. It's very close to the Main Train Station which was a big plus if you're walking. Proximity to the sights of Salzburg was also excellent, about a 15 minute very pleasant walk to Mirabel Gardens and even closer to the river for a stroll. Very residential feeling neighborhood with a grocery store and a few casual cafes nearby. Breakfast was very pleasant with the standard self-service offerings you'd expect. Our room felt like a dorm which was fine for us- the quad had a small kitchenette and a separate room for our teenager. Highly recommend.

The staff were fantastic. The room was great. The walk from the train station is very doable. The area around the hotel was okay but the people around the area were kind of sketchy. So thankfully for the 24 hour manned front door

Room very small, metal room key weights 1.5 lb, internet needs to rejoin every time, no air conditioner, heater shut down when outside temperature around 50 F, I got cold first night! only provide 2 tiny soap for four days, a tiny bag of shampoo, only one chair for entire room, have to ask for a coin for next morning breakfast, lengthy check in process, charge more than told when check out, entrant area of room dark and contained, looks like jail.
I have no idea why this horrible hotel exists in wonderful and beautiful Salzburg…this hotel ruins the reputation of Salzburg!
I regretted totally during the stay in this hotel!
