The Bellafonte - Luxury Oceanfront Hotel

Easy access to/from airport. Lovely dock with sunset views and great snorkeling and plunge pool. We used the dining decos list to book 4 awesome dinners and there’s a restaurant and bar next door. Room was clean and well equipped with a small balcony. Staff were very hospitable and there when you needed something.

The Bellafonte stay was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had vacationing. There is no kitchen on site, when ordering room service the food come from a restaurant which is 20 minutes away from the hotel. When the food arrived it was cold the hotel staff did not make any attempt to fix the problem. The staff is rude not welcoming at all, the elevators are the size of the toilet on an airplane. My card was overcharged by $600, keep in mind I booked the reservation through Expedia.

Amazing property with a pier that leads you right into the perfect water, very close to the airport! Comfortable beds and good ac. The staff help set me up with a tour and allowed me to freshen up after a adventure tour and before my flight. Highly recommend!

We stayed in The Bellafonte for a week. We absolutely love this place! There is no sand beach but you can jump in a water from the pier and see corals, different fish and sea turtles. The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sometimes, you just get lucky, our experience at Bellafonte was exceptional! You can do thorough research and examine photos but photos often appear nicer than reality and provide little insight into the service and atmosphere. This was one of those rare cases where the reality surpassed our expectations. We travel frequently, yet I don't recall encountering such friendly service and welcoming atmosphere as we did here. Everyone we met greeted us with a big smile and a huge warm welcome. Our second-floor, two-bedroom suite offered stunning sea views from the dining room, living room, and master bedroom. Both the master bedroom and living room opened onto a huge terrace over the water. We loved the fully furnished kitchen the shaded dock, the little pool, and the convenience of having a dive locker and rinse tank. Thank you all!

Amazing place to stay if you like great service and quiet. And jumping off pier into clear turquoise water was spectacular.

The hotel is very nice and rooms large & spacious. The staff at this hotel is excellent. Always a smile on everyone's face as they do anything they can to help make your vacation more enjoyable. They also helped me set up some last minute activities on the island.

The hotel is located on the water, which allows for swimming, snorkeling, and diving right from the pier. The pier is also shaded, which makes lounging a relaxing experience. There is a dive shop across the street for all water activities, and dive tanks are kept onsite. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made my stay very enjoyable.

Beautiful property! Comfy beds, and quiet! Diving gear outdoor storage and rinse take available! Beautiful view, excellent staff and everyone was so kind. We had everything we needed here! Thank you for having us!! We would definitely stay here again!

What an awesome boutique hotel. The hotel could not be nicer, or the staff friendlier. Online pictures cannot do this place justice. We will definitely return!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was newly refurbished, very comfortable. Has everything you need during your stay. Conveniently located, minutes from town and from Southern dive sites. Nice pier to relax or go for a swim. Quiet

This was a beautiful hotel and the staff was attentive. This hotel had the perfect view and the perfect dock to go snorkeling. We look forward to use Bellafonte in our future trips to Bonaire!

Property deserves a five star review mainly because of the amazing staff of Carolijn and the rest of the gang (Koen, Carl, Minke, Tamar, Lisa, Ashley - in no particular order) were simply awesome. They went above and beyond. One night was a welcome evening and we were served delicious snacks w free wine and beer. Snorkeling arnd hotel pier was great. Beds super comfy. What else can u ask for? Planning another vacay back to Bellafonte already!

Beautiful small luxury oceanside property with amazing access to snorkeling right off the dock! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Awesome happy hour on Thursday evenings with drinks and great hor d'oeuvres. Wonderful intimate setting for our 20 year anniversary ❤️

Gorgeous view. Wonderful staff.

One reason we chose this hotel was that it is non-smoking. However the staff would not enforce this rule and we were plagued by neighbors who smoked inside their unit and the smoke came through the vents to our unit. A real “luxury” resort knows how to resolve issues. We called over 10 times and went to the office and they didn’t know what to do. We asked to speak to the manager but they didn’t let us. They refused to move us and they should have made the smokers leave. We feel ripped off for an overpriced smoke filled room. Do not stay here.

Checkin was simple & straightforward. The attendants (trainees) were very nice and accommodating. View of the ocean was beautiful and room was clean.

This is a small, intimate hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet spot along the ocean, there is no better spot.
