Grandview Inn

The absolute basic of basic. You get a bed and towels and ONE roll of toilet paper in your room. No hair dryer or any other items. Beds are very firm. It is located in a convenient and quiet area.

Friendly man checked me in. Listen, this place is not what you'd call special. But it's just fine. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Sheets and everything nice, and smelled good. It's an older building but they've kept it up, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Great shower. I recommend for an affordable stay.

Got accused of stealing a cup

The WiFi & bed were good. The shower rail was unsecured so it fell down. No microwave. No bed side light. No spare toilet roll. No ice machine The room with 2 beds was crampt. The TV was put on the small table so if you wanted to do computer work you had to remove the TV. You get what you pay for I guess.

The Grandview Inn has a welcoming helpful check in. The room is basic but clean and perfect to catch the Tsawwassen ferry the next day.

Clean warm room.

Never cleaned room nor replaced shampoo or soap lawn mower sat outside our door running idly at 7:00 am. Tv required fixing. The one person staff was helpful and polite not a single amenity in room like coffee, water, bed was ok

It was gross

The room had no plug for the bathtub. There was no Kleenex. There was no extra toilet paper. The bathmat had holes and loose threads. The staff were not overly friendly- it was a job attitude- not very good English.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Smoke detector beeped every 30 seconds. TV remote did not work, air conditioning and fridge where not working well. No toilet paper. Friends of our had there licence plate stolen off there vehicle. Would not recommended this hotel at all.

Sheets wouldnt stop popping off the corners. No coffee, tissues, few towels. One night stand for a king bed. Terrible tv package.

It was a good stay

front desk staff tried to get more money than the agreed price on Expedia booking website.

it was good for a quick stay with my dog. staff was friendly and courteous.

Arrived at 11pm and our room was not ready. After waiting for the person to “clean” the room. We pulled back the sheets and they were not only dirty, but multiple peoples different hairs. We did not even sleep under the covers. There were black jackets (wasps) in the room. The bathroom was dirty and the tiny shampoo vial was only halfway full. The walls are very thin as our neighbors at 3:30am had loud escapades that shook our bed for over an hour. Do not stay here. Do not waste your money. This was ridiculous.

Clean room and quite place.

Location was decent… lots of parking.. friendly check in.. that’s about it. The room appeared to be clean but the walls and lamp and curtains were very stained. The towels were ripped.. was a place to sleep for a night.. however walls are paper thin so can hear the neighbors sleeping. Area seemed to be safe.. wouldn’t stay at again though.

My wife & I had one room & brother-in-law & his wife in another on the ground floor for a weekend. The staff were kind and accommodating. There seemed to be some confusion at check-in since I had reserved 2 rooms. It;s an old building with some upgrades to the floors & a good bed & AC. There is no sound barrier between rooms or from upstairs so I left the AC on all night to try and drown out the unwanted sounds from other rooms. There were fridges in the rooms but the only microwave available was above the laundry machines in the office area, not a big issue. The batteries were dead in the TV remote but that wasn't a concern for me. My wife said she could detect the smell of cigarettes. Not everyone respects the no smoking rule. We are none smokers. All said the kind staff helped make it a good experience.
