Absolutely stunning lodge overlooking the lake. The location on Expedia is incorrect and you actually need to be met and transferred over by boat.
Once at the lodge, you've got lots of activities to book (horseback, fishing, hiking, etc) and a Michelin-level dinner to enjoy.
The cabins are cosy and offer a perfect escape into the wild.
Only note: the double room windows overlook the path to the other cabins, so it's not super private.

Every and I mean every member of staff was welcoming and happy to have a chat and see how they could make our stay better - from the manager, to the chef, porter, activity co-ordinator, groundsman. Absolutely top notch service.

Barraco Lodge is amazing! The views of lake/river/mountains are majestic - during my 5-day stay, I never tired of looking at the changing landscape. The food was excellent. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and interesting. It's hard to describe how unique and gorgeous this place is. I am so grateful to have had the privilege of staying here. Don't miss it!
