Not a bad hotel - gave the score for the customer service which wasn’t great. I left some clothing items in the hotel room, we called that night before we left Shanghai and reception weren’t helpful in the slightest. Tried emailing and messaging - nothing returned, being ignored. No what you’d expect from customer services. Most members of staff were stand-offish with us. Wouldn’t stay again sorry

The room was very clean. I had room on the 29th floor with beautiful city view.! They even have taxi service to the airports, with a reasonable fee.

The breakfast is great!

This hotel is in a good location, although a 10 - 15 minute walk from the main attractions. In one direction is the French Quarter offering historic views ending in a mall (Westgate). In the other direction is another large mall next to South Shaanxi Road metro is a 10 minute walk. The room I was given was rather dated and requires updating. If you get it for a good price, it is worth it for the views and the extensive breakfast available with multiple options.

The hotel rooms itself was great. Rooms were spacious and clean but the hotel staff at front desks were questionable. When I got to the front desk, two female staffs were busy with customers. Then this younger male staff was picking up something from the printer and sees me standing there and says in Mandarin "do you need something?". I was shocked the way he asked me. I can listen and speak a little mandarin but I don't know how to say "What time is check out time?" So thinking this is an international hotel with lots and lots of foreigners, I would assume he understands English. So I asked him in English "I would like to know what time is check out time" and then he started to frantically shout "Shem me..check ah? Shem me?? Shem ahhh?" And I took a step back when he started shouting. Other customers and my friends were around as the hotel was quite busy. One of the female staff noticed his behavior and quickly moved him away. Then she asked me in English "Hi, how may I help you". So I asked her what time is check out time? And she politely gave me the check out time. Even if the front desk guy could not speak English, at least be polite when greeting in Mandarin.

wonderful location if you like to walk the old town Shanghai prime streets like the Maoming Rod, and Huaihai Rd, and visit the original Jingjiang Hotel which is next door.

On est proche du centre. Les chambres sont vastes et lumineuses. Le service est courtois et discret. Le petit dej est monumental. Très satisfait de mon séjour.

Property better provide a bar or lounge open time last longer - at least till midnight. Sky lounge close at 10:00 pm, too early.

Clean lady was very nice and friendly.

If you are a tourist their wifi doesn’t work at all. Beds are slightly hard. All amenities are excellent and location was great for the metro and what we needed. No milk given in rooms for tea and coffee.

Breakfast was stellar! The room was a good size for a couple. Finally a bath tub in China! Oh yes and an indoor pool with hot tub! This hotel is centrally located. You can find little eateries on that block. Theres a michelin star noodle bar across the street on the north side with local bars. Lucky Boy thai food towards the south side and convenience stores. We were so tired from traveling the week before, this hotel was a nice treat!
