It was terrible! Unbelievable There are no seats in the lobby! I sit in the lobby and waited my wife . The bar staff, Alice, said you can not sit here unless you order something! Unbelievable, the customer of the hotel can not site in the lobby! Also the baby said I offer you free water and then you can stay on the seats in the lobby. It is not acceptable! It made feel terrible! I report to the manger in the front desk. He did I not thing! Just said you can sit the seat. That is it! It is not Westin style!

Reasonably sized and comfortable room with several downsides. First was the smell of smoke whereby I requested a non-smoking room. The in room dining menu stated it was available up to 10pm but when I called at 9.45pm, I was told it was no longer available. Lastly, my colleague who book into the same room category received fruit basket and dumpling whereas I did not have any welcome items. Rather disappointed with a hotel branding that is under Westin.

We loved our stay and the location was great. The kids loved the pool. We upgraded to the Club Room and it was well worth it.

The location and the staff are absolutely amazing

Excellent location but the staffs attendance levels to be further improved, looks like insufficient staffs to attend guests' needs. My experience is call to from room to operator, there is even no one pick up. Concierge is always no staffs there at least when I was there 2 times. Besides this, generally I am quite happy with the service from staffs...

Almost nothing is working properly in the room. The food of breakfast is terrible. Air conditioner is noise all night and doesn’t work at all.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! We stayed at this hotel two separate times in a one-week period (different room each stay). The overall impression is the management doesn't have a clue how to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms - certainly not sufficient to be "entitled to" the "Property Class" appearing on expedia for this Hotel. There were numerous places on the ceiling that indicated water damage (paint was blistering up), and the Shower/bath area had a "mature growth" of mold - not what I would expect from the Westin chain....... I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Good Location. Very much appreciated service from the Front Clerk. Gym is superior. It would be better if I can have more Western Dishes in the breakfast

Visited Tianjin for our Grandsons wedding & thoroughly enjoyed the experience..... The Head Waiter Jason was amazing, he was helpful, pleasant & efficient.... all the staff followed his lead & made our stay so enjoyable.

Service was excellent but overall experience was not up to expectations. Room is a bit old and most importantly the room service is a mess. They don't even have one glass of white wine to serve. Steak was served without providing mustard and proper cutleries.

Wonderful service. Westin is a little outdated compared to the other hotels around the world. However, very comfortable and friendly staff.

Beds were incredibly soft. Breakfast buffet was huge, multi-national, and delicious! Pool was beautiful and the exercise room was spacious and well equipped. The shower didn't drain and water wound up all over the bathroom floor. Staff were very responsive and came right up to clear the drain and bring all new towels.

I arrived at about 2:45 pm at the hotel to check in. Was told that the room was not ready and to return in an hour to collect the card key. I returned two hours later and the room was still not ready. It took another 20 minutes of waiting for the card keys to be issued to me. The toilet in the lobby was not kept clean. The floor area around the urinals were always wet. The lobby restaurant's service was almost non-existent. The waiters were not attentive and there was inadequate staff. The placement of the bowls and eating utensils were bad - not placed anywhere near the food. The wifi connection speed was extremely slow.

Very nice hotel, at a good price. The rooms have a great view with full length windows. The staff were helpful with limited English. Fairly convenient location in the business centre, 5 minutes walk from the riverside or shopping areas.

I have stayed at the Tianjin Westin a number of times during business travels. The front desk service is always excellent and the rooms clean and comfortable. The gym is excellent and bring your bathing suit... the indoor pool is beautiful and the water is kept in the high 80s (PH levels and water temp are updated daily and posted on the wall). There are a few interesting restaurants and a Starbucks close by as well. Great location.

This is our third time staying here and the hotel is getting an aged feel. But the price is reflecting its condition and we are ok with it.

This hotel locates at the center of Tianjin, next to great sites for shopping, sight seeing and good food. Public transportation also is convenient. Room is clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at Westin Hotels in other cities in China with good experience, but this time obviously we made a mistake at selecting the right hotel in Tianjing. Arriving at 1:30pm and the room was not ready, the front desk girl told us it will be ready in 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, the room was still not ready. I had to check with them twice till finally they had a room for us. The condition and cleaness of the room was bad for a Westin hotel, I found hairs on the bath room floor and the toilet paper wasn't replaced. I called to ask for some toilet paper, a guy came without hotel uniform, knocked the door loudly and inpatiently with yelling some Chinese words. The taxi drivers around the hotel were terrible, my husband caught a taxi less than one mile away from the hotel and asking the driver to take him back to the hotel, the driver told him he didn't know where the hotel is. We checked out early next morning for our flight to Tokyo, only one girl working at the front desk, no bell man. We asked her if she can Call a taxi for us and she replied we have to do it by our own. It was 5:20 in the morning, we caught a taxi passing the street in front of the hotel, I knew the taxi charge from this hotel to the airport should be aroud 50 RMB, however the taxidriver charged us 94 .
