Abbey Hotel by Trivelles

REALLY AWFUL experience extremely noisy road really unhelpful on reception he could of given me another room other rooms vacant but he refused said I had to pay more so glad it was only for one night wouldn’t return

Arrived to be told there wasn’t a room for me. Apparently they had notified my through Expedia. I don’t use Expedia, I booked through Hotels.com. Resulted in me having to book elsewhere at short notice. I did use the toilets while I was trying to check in and they were disgusting which is why I leave a negative review on the cleanliness. I wasn’t ’fortunate’ enough to see the accommodation. I had to ask for a refund as they still took my money. Hotels.com were very helpful sorting the refund which is the only positive I can take from this experience!

Rooms were clean but small. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. It would have been nice to have ice or an ice machine.

Great value for money. Friendly receptionist comfy bed and nice hot shower! Also the food in the adjoining fast food restaurant was super tasty!

Hanna was amazing she was very welcoming and gave us a great upgrade. She told us where the best places to visit

Room was clean and font desk person was friendly. Nice for a one night stay. Near the Abby Park which was lovely.

Extremely thin mattress, could feel all the springs. Lovely friendly staff and great location near green areas in Leicester

Stayed here for the first time, short stay of one night staff were very friendly, receptionist was lovely and welcoming, room was spacious and clean, comfy bed and all facilities in working order.. would definitely stay again.

The room was really clean, it had a microwave and fridge. The bathroom was really clean too. The location is amazing, next to things such as Iceland, the Range and a few other big chains. We had a heating problem of which the receptionist and house keeper helped us out within 10 mins of raising the issue. Would defo stay again.

You get what you pay for. Nothing wrong, nothing amazing other than the lady on reception- she was very helpful

It was fine for what we needed it for - somewhere to sleep, although the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The surrounding area doesn’t seem the safest at night to walk around. Wasn’t expensive though, so fine if you’re on a budget.
