My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor. The staff was so lovely, the room was always clean, and the food…unbelievable! The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel, very picturesque. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. My only negative was the cost of food and wine. We had a lovely meal the first night but it’s very expensive, especially the wine which was good but very overpriced. For our second night we ate near Broadway for a third of the cost.

It was a cute enough estate, however for the price, we would definitely not stay again. We were kind of made to feel unwelcome, and the room was very small. It was beautifully decorated though. But when you’re paying to stay in a manor, you expect to have full and comfortable use of the common areas for relaxation etc. the fireplaces weren’t lit even though it was chilly each night and when we asked we were always told “maybe tomorrow night”. Overall our stay was enjoyable and the staff were very courteous at all times. Our room was comfortable and clean but there were areas, particularly in the bar area which were very dusty, in particularly under the table where the menus sat and the adjacent chair. There is not really a true bar area where we might have congregated with other guests and during the time we did sit there the “barman” only appeared briefly once! Breakfast was great but didn’t experience an evening meal as the menu had no appeal
