Honestly, this place was fantastic. The views from our room were easily some of the best we've ever had. The staff were so welcoming, especially the gentleman at the bar (we didn't get his name) who made us the absolute best Espresso Martinis. The location is perfect if you're traveling by train or bus, and the in-room snacks (crisps, biscuits, tea, and coffee) were such a nice bonus. It was a shame the weather stopped us from using the lounge and heated pool, but it just gives us a reason to come back!

I've stayed here 5 times now so I must like it. Great hotel in a really good location 5 mins walk from the station. Very clean throughout a perfect place to relax. Hopefully I'll go back again when I can. First class I really can't fault it at all.

We stayed at several places and this was another good one, but, keep in mind that:
1. You need to prebook a parking space. it will be an extra charge ~ £9
2. Also, prebook the restaurant for dinner. They can't guarantee guests a table
3 they automatically at a 10% gratuity on dinner bills, it says optional on the check

Breakfast OK. Not big variety as expected. Hot food is made on demand plus a buffet with cereals, bread, etc. Mattress was worn out and the springs were sticking out, affecting my sleep. Also, too soft mattress. Nice size bathroom but dated. Cold room despite trying to regulate the radiator. Smelly room which has showed that there was no ventilation before my arrival. Thin wall. I could hear the other guest in the other room snoring and moving about. Definitely not 4 star accommodation.

The room was nice, and it was very clean with lovely sea views, in a good location, only being 5 minutes walk outside town, but the walk back is somewhat more difficult because it’s uphill. Although I have one complaint, you realistically have to be down for breakfast at 9am sharp because they close for breakfast and remove the breakfast counter at 9:30am on the bottom.

The Hotel Penzance offers a great location for anyone visiting West Cornwall.
A nice, comfortable, well located if slightly tired building, the rooms here were spacious and offering a fantastic sea view directly over St Michael’s Mount.
The only downside for a less confident parker is the car park which was like a lesson in advanced trigonometry to get out of. Do not try it in the dark!

Comfortable bed and great restaurant. Nice elevated location and I'm sure it's nice sitting out front or using the pool in the summer. Easy walk into Penzance. I'm sure sea-facing rooms are nicer, mine looked out over a back yard with junk in it, and with the window open I could hear an extractor fan from the kitchen (I believe), so pay attention to room location!

The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was great and very clean. The views were lovely and the pool looked great although the weather was not conducive to swimming. Kaisely the Receptionist was very attentive and very helpful and friendly this morning. She took all of my complaints onboard and apologised sincerely for the lukewarm water during my stay.
I know sausages and the sausages I was served yesterday were of such poor quality with a texture thats no meat.
And there was this incident of someone trying to get into my room without my permission after I responded and said "a moment"
Overall though, my experience was good but it could have been better considering it's a 4 Star hotel

Disappointed with a few key details during my stay. The pool was advertised as open until 8pm, but was actually closed by 6pm frustrating for those planning to use the facility in the evening.
