Me and my 2 grandchildren had a fantastic stay in one of the bunkers. We chose this as had a hot tub with it which we all loved! The place is peaceful and relaxing and only took us 15 minutes to get into skegness beach. The bunker has everything you need for a comfortable stay We definitely hope to return again!! Thank you for a lovely gem of a place!

Well as glamping goes this was certainly different. An ex-RAF site are two aircraft converted comfortably for you to sleep in including the former tower and associated buildings. We chose the Helicopter, certainly compact for two, it was cozy with underfloor heating and an additional heater (which we needed) as there are a couple of drafts. TV with Wi-Fi connection, there are showers and kitchen facilities in a separate block, so has that camping vibe. The site owner was helpful and really nice family run business. Two nights was enough on the chopper but would certainly like to try the tower or jetstream aircraft. Located by the old Wainsfleet bombing range (interesting history) it’s a bird sanctuary you go walking or 20 mins drive to Skegness.

It was such a beautiful location and secluded. We had the whole area to ourselves and was so peaceful. We was provided with heaters and under flooding heating but we didn’t even need them, once your inside it’s so cosy. We stayed for 2 nights but could quite easily stay longer.

This is an interesting location with a couple of unique "rooms" - we didn't stay in the Helicopter or Jetstream but they looked great from the outside. The Lancaster bomber apartment was nice - fantastic bathroom with big freestanding bath and separate shower. The sofa bed was comfy for our 10 year-old, not sure about having two in the bed. The main bedroom is a decent size and the bed was comfy (a little soft for me, but I like a harder mattress). The hot tub was a nice extra, one of my few complaints would be that there's no door direct out to that outside area so you need to walk around the building from the front door. If you like the look of the pub at the end of the road - book ahead, we popped in on the Friday to check the menu and couldn't get a table for Saturday evening.

Really great stay, very quiet, well organised and well equipped. Good size kitchen with all amenities, comfy beds, clean fresh towels and linen, good TV, phone and WIFI signal. I’d recommend a nighttime walk along the road towards the seabank, lots of wildlife to see. Very unique property for an aviation lover, will be back!

Very unusual, interesting and good fun. Large hot tub was good, although developed a technical fault - still usable on some settings and an engineer was called promptly. Very happy to recommend this accommodation. Close to RAF Coningsby and Battle of Britain Flight. Excellent parking and views near runway to watch the Euro fighters!
