A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay.
Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower.
Food selection was great and expertly prepared.
Plenty of choices for breakfast.
Good selection of drinks at the bar.
Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.

All good except when i arrived and checked in at 7.00pm there was no availability in the restaurant. Had to go elsewhere for food.
Never new that you had to pre book even though staying there.

Excellent staff. We were delayed by bad weather and arrived late, just as the chef told reception that he’d finished service. He immediately asked what we’d like to eat and prepared us a great dinner.
The general manager and breakfast waitress were also very helpful and friendly.

Food was amazing, room was less so. It looked tired and had a strange green light in the ceiling that didn’t turn off and made sleeping tough. For the price they charge there are better options. Go there to eat but I wouldn’t recommend staying.

The hotel is beautiful and historic. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. I want very much to give Green Man a great review, unfortunately we had no heat during our stay. We had two rooms, one for my wife and I, and another for my 85yo father-in-law. Neither rooms had heat. The weather had been cold and neither room got above 55 degrees during our stay. I report
