Very good restaurant. However, hotel building is old and does not meet my idea of a 4star hotel. Room not comfortable; no easy chairs to watch TV. Wooden floor, which was very noisy which disturbed my wife whilst sleeping.
I can recommend the restaurant but the hotel is not in the same class.

This was a birthday treat for my wife, so we stayed at a hotel that we had passed many times and heard a lot about. We had a double room but no A/C which was needex. We did find a fan, so we put up with the noise.
We looked forward to the lovely pool only to be told it was not in use due to re-tiling, most disappointing. Good news though, the new Spa facilities were now open but the new spa pool was not fit for use. I treated my wife to a massage and I got free use of the sauna's, ice cascade, cold tipping bucket and new computerised shower with sound effect and lighting, very very good. The Spa staff were excellent. The restaurant was lovely, the food delicious and staff courteous. Overall, I thought that the hotel lacked readiness, especially the lack of the swimming pools and general tidyness. The tennis court was not fit for purpose and needs a complete overhaul. I do however expect to return before the summer season ends.

It was so exceptional to be able to stay at a real, if small, castle. Our suite was delightfully spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The receptionist was wonderfully warm and inviting. We had a marvelous dinner at the restaurant. The only flaw was that the scrambled eggs were a bit tired at the breakfast buffet. Overall though all else was perfect.

We liked the Chateau but it is on a busy industrial street. It is set back so the noise is minimal and the facility itself is beautiful. The staff was helpful and the food was excellent. They only have a limited menu on Monday nights. The grounds are pleasant

Booked my room at 10:50pm, got to the hotel at 11pm only to find it closed.
I could not access my room and was still charged in full after I was told on the phone that no one will be there to let me in.

Great Hotel but weather was very hot and therefore we had to open window BUT OUR ROOM WAS ON GROUND FLOOR and so not secure!!. Needs basic AIR CONDITIONING.
Also the towels were the most THREADBARE we have ever seen - new towels please.
Also a small boX of tissues in the room would have been nice.
Food (in the bistro) was excellent and the service first class.

We loved the food at the restaurant. We stayed at the Orangerie which has very well-presented rooms. We think it is very good value. The only negative was that the air-conditioner did not seem to be working and we had to open the window at 3 am. Otherwise, an excellent experience and we will be back next year.

Personal musste aufgefordert werden für Service. Im Treppenhaus, was sehr alt und eigentlich schön ist, sind die Fenster mit Dreck verschmiert und alte, sehr gut sichtbare Spinngewebe sind grosszügig in den Fensterecken zu finden. Nicht gerade sauber.
